미국에서 스벅오면 꼭 이름을 물어보기때문에 “정훈”이란 이름은 한번도 전달된적이 없어서 그냥 “jeong”이라고 하곤 했다.
이번에 와서는 이제 영어 이름이 잊다는걸 깨닫고 Wayland를 시도 중인데 “wayren”, “Raiden”등으로 실패중이다. 마지막 d 발음이 특히 어렵군.

re:Invent 키노트에서 CodeCatalyst라는걸 발표했는데 검색해보니 검색인덱스는 업데이트 되었는데 누르면 AWS Toolkit for JetBrains 사이트로 간다. 캐싱된 페이지에는 3일전 CodeCatalyst로 캐싱된거 같고 공식 페이지로 보이는 곳에 가면 docs.aws.amazon.com/codecatalyst/l Stay Tuned만 나온다.

"코더 vs 프로그래머" 같은 선 긋기는 이제 지긋지긋 하지만, 이 책에서 제시하는 소프트웨어 개발의 "장인 vs 공학" 정신은 유용한 것 같다.
개발자의 이상은 한땀 한땀 정성스럽게 코드를 짜는 것이 아닌 확장성과 정밀도가 높은 프로그램을 만드는 과학적인 과정에 집중해야 한다.
