Enjoying talking about tech journalism - how we need to accept there are important stories which may be complex and invest our time in understanding them. I’m paraphrasing, but her conclusion that investigative journalism is a public good gets a big 👍🏻 from me

Great stuff from . on trust frameworks for journalism via the JTI. "We need to give people reasons to trust our journalism" and if this makes us confront some uncomfortable things along the way, "that’s fine too".

Reading the BBC Annual Plan it's gratifying seeing the word ‘local’ so much - Five Live, BBC Three, Radio2 and the website all talking about local audiences. Tech stuff like ML/personalisation supports this. I'm so happy to work for the bit of the BBC delivering this work.
