As much as it would restore my patriotic heart to see TFG in prison, this hate could end if he would just admit to the Big Lie. But he won’t. He’d rather be in prison than begin to heal the country.

You can regulate a pregnant body but not a coal plant. You can control the free speech of a teacher but not the money-as-speech of a corporation. You can coerce a child to pray in school but you can’t keep guns out of their classroom. What a world this Supreme Court is making.

Listening to "Curious Kitchen Tools from History" on Milk Street Radio I have a glass fly catcher from the coop a few years back. You guest needs to visit LL Bean to see the apple peeler. Stuff isn’t so Victorian.

NPR Says with a 15 minimum wage, 27 mil people will benefit, and 1.5 mil will lose their jobs. Small businesses say they’ll have to cut people. If you own a business and are paying people 7/hour, then you suck.
When you get your stimulus check, get vaccinated, see schools open, get a PPP for your business, remember that not one single republican voted for that to happen. But next time they’re in power, they’ll vote for a massive tax cut for the rich. Isn’t it time to vote them out?

Remember when the Senate voted to suspend the 2/3 vote and go with just a simple majority? 1st impeachment was 53 to 47 and he was acquitted. Why didn’t they go with a simple majority this time?

SDNY has been patiently waiting. A criminal trial has more chops than this bullshit ’impeachment’ with absent GOP jurors and other malarkey.

My spin: I say let them vote to acquit, which McConnell already said he would do. Get Merrick confirmed as AG. Get COVID relief out. Let the DOJ & SDNY take care of the criminal behavior of 45. Conviction by the Senate doesn’t really touch 45. Let SDNY and DOJ finish him.

If GOP can’t find their conscience to convict, they will have to answer to the reaction around the world. the USA will never be taken seriously ever again.
