Since its blockbuster debut on the New York Stock Exchange, Coupang, once touted as the “Amazon of Korea,” has developed into a formidable and trusted regional e-commerce platform. With its unrelenting focus on speed, agility, and sustainability, Coupang makes even Amazon look slow, delivering 99% of all orders within one day—all arriving in zero-waste packaging. The company’s founder says his goal is to create a world where customers wonder, 'How did I ever live without Coupang?’ Can attention to detail and customer obsession help him build such a world?

VISIONS OF CRYPTOPIA 
Square, Tesla, Argentina’s Mercado Libre—more and more companies are adding Bitcoin to their balance sheets. Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, a tech firm whose crypto holdings were recently valued at more than US $5 billion, largely kicked off the trend—including by helping, personally, to win over Elon Musk. After being at the center of the pandemic last year, China and other parts of Asia have gradually returned to a degree of normalcy in most sectors but one: tourism.
