We at Bombinate Technologies Private Limited ( “Bombinate”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”
) know that our Users (“you”, “your”) care about how personal information provided on
the Website is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to

By visiting or using our Application or opting for Services (as defined in the Terms of
Service) in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, are aware of, and accept the
practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent that we will

WHAT INFORMATION DOES THE COMPANY COLLECT?
Information You Provide to Us:
We receive and store information about you, only to the extent that is required for us to
provide you with the Services via the Application. For example, we collect personal information
such as your name, email address, contact number, information of the mobile device(s), browser
information and third-party account credentials, and Content uploaded by you ( “Personal
Information”). If you provide your third-party account credentials to us, you understand
some content and/or information in those accounts (Third Party Account Information) may
be transmitted into your account with us if you authorize transmissions, and that Third-Party
Account Information transmitted to our Services is covered by this Privacy Policy. You can
choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to register with
us or to take advantage of some of our features. We may anonymize your Personal Information so
that you cannot be individually identified, and provide that information to our
partners/third-parties. In particular, Company reserves with it the right to use anonymized user
demographics information for the following purposes:
I. Analysing software/Application usage patterns for improving product design and
utility.
II. Analysing such information for research and development of new technologies.
III. Using analysis of such information in other commercial product offerings of the
Company.
IV. Sharing analysis of such information with third parties for commercial

At times, we conduct a User survey to collect information about Users preferences. These surveys
are optional and if Users choose to respond, their responses will be kept anonymous. Similarly,
we may offer contests to qualifying Users in which we ask for contact and demographic
information such as name, email address and mailing address. The demographic information that we
collect in the registration process and through surveys is used to help Company improve its
Services to meet the needs and preferences of Users.

When you interact with our Application, we strive to make your experience easy and meaningful.
We or our third-party service providers may use cookies, mobile app analytics and similar
technologies to track visitor activity and collect data on the Application. We may combine this
data with the Personal Information we have collected from users. In addition, we use cookies to
collect website activity data about visitors to our platform i.e. Koo or any related platform
facilitating the Application.
Third Parties - As noted, we may also engage third parties to track and analyse Application
activity on our behalf. To do so, these third parties may place necessary technologies to track
user activity. We use the data collected by such third parties to help us administer and improve
the quality of the mobile Application and to analyse usage of the mobile Application. However,
such third-parties never have access to any of your Personal Information. We never disclose
aggregate information to a partner in a manner that would identify you personally.
Company’s Mobile Apps
When you download and install the Application onto your device, we may assign a number (a unique
device identifier) to your App installation. This number cannot be used to identify you
personally, and we cannot identify you personally unless you choose to become a registered user
of the App. We use this number in a manner similar to our use of technology as described above.
The number is assigned to your installation of the App itself and not a browser because the App
does not work through your browser. Therefore, the random number cannot be removed through
settings. If you do not want us to use the random number for the purposes for which we use
cookies, please do not use the App.
WILL WE SHARE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
The personal information including the information and Content entered by you while registering
on the Application and/or using the Services will be treated in the following
manner.
Affiliated Businesses and Third-Party Websites, third Party Partners We Do Not
Control:
In certain situations, businesses or third-party partners we are affiliated with may sell items
or provide services to you through the Services (either alone or jointly with us).
You can recognize when an affiliated business is associated with such a transaction or service,
and we will share your Personal Information with that affiliated business only to the extent
that it is related to such transaction or service. Company shall in no way part with your
sensitive Personal Information with the third party or partners without your express consent.
One such service may include the ability for you to automatically transmit Third Party Account
Information to your Services profile or to automatically transmit information in your Services
profile to your third-party account. We have no control over the policies and practices of third
party websites or businesses as to privacy or anything else, so if you choose to take part in
any transaction or service relating to an affiliated website or business, please review all such
business’ or websites’ policies.
Employees /Agents of Company:
We follow a strict confidentiality clause with regard to disclosure of Personal Information to
our employees or other personnel. There may be situations, where we may disclose the
confidential information only to those of our employees and other personnel on a need to know
basis and who agree to abide by the confidentiality obligations. Any breach of Personal
Information by the employees, personnel within Company is taken stringently by the Company and
may result in termination or initiation of legal actions on the defaulting person.
We also employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your
information with them to provide products or services to you. Unless we tell you differently,
our agents do not have any right to use the Personal Information we share with them beyond what
is necessary to assist us.
User Profiles and Submissions:
Certain user profile information, including without limitation a user’s name and location may be
displayed to other users to facilitate user interaction within the Services or address your
request for Company’s Services. Your account privacy settings allow you to limit the other users
who can see the Personal Information in your user profile and/or what information in your user
profile is visible to others when such a Service is offered by Company in the future. Any
content you upload to your public user profile, along with any Personal Information or content
that you voluntarily disclose online in a manner other user can view (on discussion boards, in
messages and chat areas, etc.) becomes publicly available, and can be collected and used by
others. Your user name may also be displayed to other users if and when you send messages or
comments or upload images or videos through the Services and other users can contact you through
messages and comments. Again, we do not control the policies and practices of any other
third-party site or service which may interact with our Services.
Business Transfers:
We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is
typically one of the business assets that would be transferred. Also, if we (or our assets) are
acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of
control, Personal Information would be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third

believe is necessary to comply with law or court order; enforce or apply our conditions of use
and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Company, our employees, our

with third parties in personally identifiable form, and you will be able to prevent the sharing

WHAT CHOICES DO I HAVE?
You can always opt out of our Services, or choose not to disclose information to us at any time.
However, keep in mind that some information may be needed to register with us or to take
advantage of some of our special features. Hence, by choosing not to provide us with the
above-mentioned information, you may be unable to access our Services/use our Application at
all.
You may at any time request us to provide you with all the Personal Information about you that
we have. In addition, you have complete access to all Personal Information uploaded by you on
your account, and you can add, update, correct or delete all or any part of the Personal
information at any time. However, as explained above, such deletion and/or correction may result
in you being unable to use all or a part of our Services, where such information is
mandatory/required.
When you update information, note that we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information as
well in our records. However, you may request deletion of your account and/or all Personal
Information about you that may be stored with us by emailing us at help@kooapp.com, at any time.
We may keep a copy of any of your Personal Information for legal purposes. We may use any
aggregated/anonymized data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you
update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
Your Personal Information is maintained by us in electronic form. Such information may also be
converted to physical form from time to time. We shall take all necessary precautions to protect
your personal information both online and off-line, and implement reasonable security practices
and measures including certain managerial, technical, operational and physical security control
measures that are commensurate with respect to the information being collected and the nature of
our business. Specifically, we will ensure that the security infrastructure put in place by us
to safeguard your Personal Information against loss, unauthorised access, destruction, use,
processing, storage, modification or de-anonymization, will at all times be adherent to the
IS/ISO/IEC 27001 International Standards on IT Security Techniques (or a Central Government
approved equivalent).
No administrator in our Company will have knowledge of your password. It is important for you to
protect against unauthorized access to your password, your computer and your mobile phone. Be
sure to log off from the Application when finished. We do not undertake any liability for any
unauthorised use of your account and password. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your
account, you must immediately notify us by sending an email to help@kooapp.com. You shall be
liable to indemnify us due to any loss suffered by us due to such unauthorized use of your
account and password.
Notwithstanding the above, the Company is not responsible for the confidentiality, security or
distribution of your Personal Information by our partners and third parties outside the scope of
our agreement with such partners and third parties. Further, we shall not be responsible for any
breach of security or for any actions of any third parties or events that are beyond the
reasonable control of the Company including but not limited to, acts of government, computer
hacking, unauthorised access to computer data and storage device, computer crashes, breach of
security and encryption, poor quality of Internet service or telephone service of the User
etc.
CASUAL VISITORS NOTE
No sensitive personal data or information is automatically collected by us from any casual
visitors of this Application, who are merely perusing the Application.
Nevertheless, certain provisions of this Privacy Policy are applicable to even such casual
visitors, and such casual visitors are also required to read and understand the privacy
statements set out herein, failing which they are required to leave this Application
immediately.
