I've started a new marketing role working for an international SaaS company. I've been asked to set some OKR's but 1) I've never set OKRs before and 2) I'm new to the role and there's a lot of things that are new to me so it is hard to set OKRs. I've been at the company a month as of Monday.

In order for you to kindly help suggest set OKRs for me, I'll give some background context of my role and the structure of the team I'm in.

I work in marketing and I'm part of a 7 person EMEA marketing team (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

The team consists of:

  1. Director of EMEA region

  2. Marketing Manager for Europe

  3. Marketing Manager for Middle East and Africa

  4. Events specialist for EMEA

  5. Marketing campaigns specialist for EMEA

  6. Communications/copywriting specialist for EMEA

  7. Marketing Generalist for EMEA

In simple terms, the two Marketing Managers (points 2 & 3) create their strategy for their region (their strategy consisting of events, marketing campaigns like paid ads, and content such as blogs). It's then down to the rest of us (points 4-7) to work as the engine or core to help the Marketing Manager for Europe and Marketing Manager for Middle East & Africa reach their strategy.

My role as the Marketing Generalist involves being an additional resource to support the people on points 4-6 in terms of events, campaigns and content. So I'm a jack of all trades.

About Community

Home base for people who are organised and for people who want to be organised. No organisational idea works for everyone, but it is useful to see what works for other people so you can tweak their ways for your own use. Remember, not everyone is in the US, organisation and organization are used interchangeably around here.
