WABC-TV, the No. 1 broadcast station in the U.S., and the National Puerto Rican Day Parade (NPRDP) committee announced an exciting 90-minute community celebration taking place on SUNDAY, JUNE 14 at noon. The official Parade program will be hosted by WABC-TV anchors Joe Torres and David Novarro along with Sunny Hostin, co-host of “The View.”  Featured will be special appearances from community leaders like Luis Miranda, Jr. as well as Puerto Rican television, film & music luminaries, including award-winning actor, composer and lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda. WABC-TV, la estación de televisión número 1 en los EE. UU., y el comité del Desfile Nacional Puertorriqueño (NPRDP por sus siglas en inglés) anunciaron una emotiva celebración cultural de 90 minutos que tendrá lugar el DOMINGO 14 de JUNIO al mediodía. El programa oficial del Desfile será presentado por los locutores de WABC-TV, Joe Torres y David Novarro junto a Sunny Hostin, coanfitriona de “The View”. Durante el especial se presentarán líderes comunitarios como Luis A. Miranda, Jr. y luminarias puertorriqueñas de televisión, el cine y la música, incluyendo al galardonado actor, compositor y letrista Lin-Manuel Miranda. El especial televisivo irá al aire en lugar del esperado desfile anual conocido por su festiva exhibición de banderas en la 5ta Avenida, el mismo fue pospuesto este año debido a la pandemia COVID-19.
