It appears like there's an issue with rendered markdown blog posts (placed in /_posts) when using style: dark.

Here are some screenshots of how the site looks now and what it should look like. I changed the background color and set the code block padding to 10px.

The entire render is actually pretty questionable, which is weird since the regular GitHub .md render is awesome!

I am facing the similar problem. And actually the rendering is questionable because the overall importance syntax highlighting while writing a code is missing altogether. I used markdown: CommonMarkGhPages as I needed to tweak <\summary> and <\details> tags to show code. But even with normal markdown the rendering isn't good. Is anyone following up on this issue?
