GitHub extension needs to maintain separate default folder for cloning and copying #2522

If GitHub is getting special treatment then it needs to be and to end. To have separate "root" and doesn't get mixed with other things, unless user points it to the same path on purpose.

And it needs a [Copy] action that doesn't require any sign in and is equivalent of taking a zip file from a GitHub page and unpacking it - completely detached and read only from GitHub's side and completely light from the client side (no pile up of "histories", nada clean, just placed) .

Would you like something like a GITPATH or GITHUB_PATH environment variable? 🤔

I don't care about env vars - it's VS :-) All I care is that when I "go" to GitHub anything default (local) path is not the same I've set for git in general. Assume that my default for git repos goes to entirely different "place" and that that's where I keep my work while stuff from GitHub is by and large informational, transient and has potentially much larger number of top level folders..
