    spect@18.0.0 API is reduced to only 5 essential functions: $, h, v, o, e. 2-nd stage is finished. Time for benchmarking, optimizations and tests. Frontend UI code now is the most compact (I can think of). Eg. todomvc app is only ~60loc.

    More I refactor spect, more I appreciate the beauty of observable by . Almost every detail is beautiful in it. That is the most elegant and expressive UI/FRP code I know. This and hyperscript are way ahead of modern react/hooks/rxjs.

    Can imagine a language with optional aspects of functionality. Eg. Symbol.function - to make target callable. Symbol.promise - instead of .then. Symbol.add, Symbol.sub etc - redefining ops. Symbol.unit - for providing units to values.

    Providing meta-functionality via symbols is lovely js pattern. Symbol.observable and Symbol.asyncIterator can add streaming to anything, not polluting own namespace. Used that practice for observable arrays in spect:
