    Woke up, got out of bed. Shoved an airpod inside my head. Tried to play a song, but the net is broke. The net came back but then it went away. ha ha ha So I used my SD Card, oh I forgot - that's not allowed.

    So then I opened Garage band. I got the pin wheel and the bouncing dock. And when it finally went away. It started heating up. The fan was lifting off. I'd love to throw, it, a-way.

    Got xserver and puppeteer working in wsl today. The eventual solution was so simple but it took a long time to get to that point... is that sort of thing worth blogging about?

    TC39 is a collection of mostly dudes from SF and mostly google who think language design is all about centristly plucking features from other OO languages. All the stuff you love post ES5, they just took from coffeescript, now they are out of ideas, and it's a complete mess.

    So if you any power at all within that structure, you can make a decision that all users of the web will have to contend with. Does this seem like the way the web should work? The fact it's on Github or that there's a mailing list doesn't matter. These are crumbs.

    Also, language proposals are open to the public, but getting it across the line is a matter of getting a "champion" (essentially a google employee) to like it. This is highly correlated with a platform holder having a product that would benefit from X feature.

    It's fundamentally uncreative, uninspired and market driven. Instead of curating a language design that is future proof we just copy what other langs (C#, python, etc) do.
