    Love Unpaywall so much. It helps me to locate a paper in just 5 seconds. (Well, 3 seconds go to installing the extension again after PC being re-imaged, and 1 second for loading up the page )

    unpaywall presents net cost per paid use as a new metric to use for article/journal costs. This is your subscription cost minus your ILL cost divided by your paid use (downloads, citations, authorships).

    We applaud any publishers making any content open, any way. That said, we do hope to replace the rather ad-hoc Bronze OA approach with something more systematic and sustainable for both publishers and libraries.

    I've heard three library deans/directors in the last month report massive savings by unbundling the Big Deal. Paying more for some indiv titles but less overall.

    Funny, looking at this (OA) paper the tools popup. points to the PDF at PMC, to the PDF at PLOS, first to another PDF at HAL and our (Lean) Library app tells that you already have access. I don't click Kopernio ;-)
