Discover the Magic of Fairy Doors!

Please join us in welcoming Fairy Door Tours to Saskatoon. Children and adults alike will enjoy this enchanted woodland walk. Visit a series of whimsical fairy, elf and gnome doors scattered along a scenic park trail. There will be opportunities for wishmaking, leave a letter in the fairy mailbox and a fairy story time to conclude our adventure!

A Fairy Door is a magical gateway or portal between our world and the supernatural. A hiker made the first Fairy Door discovery in Newfoundland, near the East Coast Trail (Tinker’s Point, Tors Cove), which, is where Fairy Door Tours originated. It's believed they have always existed, but are often located in woodland areas where they are less likely to be discovered. This led to a fascination and search for others... to date several have been located and now Fairy Door Tours is excited to collaborate with the Fairies and offer tours to children and families.

Our Fairy Trails

Our Fairy Door Tours run Saturday afternoons, from mid June to mid October. This tour visits approximately 10-12 Fairy Doors, the Fairy Mailbox and Wishing Tree. If your child would like to leave a note or letter for the Fairy, please have them prepared in advance if possible.

Treasure Bags will be provided... these little bundles contain wishing bubbles, shells, marbles, stones, string... things that may come in handy on the tour - or a small gift for a Fairy. Please note empty treasure bags must be returned at the end of the tour.

Birthday Parties & Group Tours

Fairy Door Tour birthday parties are a magical way to celebrate your childs birthday. We offer a private tour to your party group (see group rates below), while you look after refreshments and cake, etc.



Where will we have cake & presents?

  • Party details will be available soon

If you have a small group you could book a smaller number of tickets (ie. 10 children, 4 adults) and pay regular ticket price, this option will cost less - but please note this won't be a private tour, and others will likely be attending the tour with your group.

Tours for Daycares!

Looking to keep the kids happy and active? Bring your daycare on a private Fairy Door Tour. For our daycare tours, we allow providers to choose from 30 minute or 1.5 hour tours to help accomodate with the little one's schedules.

Daycare Tours can be booked for Weekdays as well!

The same rates apply for Daycare Tours as for Private Tours.
