A message from the CEO
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the CEO and Director General of Thunderbird School of Global Management. Now a unit of the ASU Knowledge Enterprise at Arizona State University, Thunderbird’s unprecedented alliance combines its 70-year heritage of developing inspired global leaders with ASU’s unrivaled resources and ardent goals for international expansion.
Thunderbird has a great history, a great legacy. And that legacy has flourished as a stand-alone institution. Through this partnership, Thunderbird retains its own culture and its own global reputation while leveraging ASU's resources and providing an established spring board for ASU and Thunderbird to move into new areas of education and, in time, new parts of the world. The partnership provides extensive benefits to both institutions, enhancing our opportunities for greater global engagement.
Students will always be the center of what we do at Thunderbird – because that is what we produce at this institution: graduates who become Thunderbirds. People with a unique spirit, a love of the international, a love of language and culture. People who feel at home whether they are in South America, South Africa, Russia or the Middle East. People who have great affection for all things international.
If the call of exploration, new cultures and different environments holds appeal; if working in a business, government or non-profit that operates overseas sounds intriguing; and, if you feel at home and find comfort in challenging situations, then you will find the life you are looking for at Thunderbird School of Global Management.
