Preparations

  1. Unlock Bootloader
  2. If you're on android 14 stay on it, if you're not, restore android 14

Installation

  1. Enter fastboot using volume and power down
  2. fastboot set_active b
  3. fastboot reboot-bootloader
  4. fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
  5. fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img
  6. fastboot flash boot boot.img
  7. fastboot reboot-recovery
  8. You should be now in lineage recovery
  9. Flash lineage 21 using apply update and adb sideload
  10. Optionally wipe data and make sure it boots just fine
  11. Reboot into recovery either using keys or menu option in recovery
  12. Make sure at the top of recovery it says slot a
  13. Flash SailfishOS rootfs via adb sideload
  14. Reboot the device
  15. Congratulations! You have now SailfishOS installed!
  16. On first boot you have to turn screen off and on for on screen keyboard to show up. Also wait patiently for WiFi to turn on, it's known to take a hot second

OTA Instructions

SailfishOS updates option in settings is my app and you should be able to use it to update.

  1. devel-su ssu re 5.0.0.77
  2. devel-su zypper clean -a
  3. devel-su zypper ref -f
  4. version --dup
  5. reboot
