There has been a Hazardous Materials Incident at 1101 Midvale Road, Sunnyside, WA. A Level 3 (Get out now) Evacuation Notification has been sent to those located inside of a .5 mile (half mile) radius of the location. Shelter location-Sunnyside Community Center 1501 S. 1st St.

UPDATE-All evacuation notices for the (Lesure Hill Mobile Home Park, Goodman Drive and Eagle Crest Drive) Union Gap, WA area are reduced to a LEVEL 1 Be Ready. Occupants may return to their homes or businesses.

Effective Immediately: All Yakima Co. Level 3 (Go Now) evac notices now downgraded to Level 2 (Be Ready) evac notices. Up-to-date fire perimeter & and evac levels: nifc.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappvie…… Yakima R. Canyon and Hwy 821 will remain closed at least through the Labor Day holiday.

Wash. DNR geology map of #RattlesnakeRidge shows the bulk of the slide is headed in a southern direction toward the quarry. Some rockfall may impact Thorp Road. The slide is slow moving and made of rock. In contrast, Oso was made of mud.

**Evans Canyon Fire Official Information** 9/2/2020 - 945pm Satellite thermal IR imagery shows hot spots and general fire location. Dots not exact location of fire, only estimate. Red line is fire perimeter from time earlier than IR imagery. All evac notices still in place.

The Pipeline Fire now near 3,000 ac & burning west of Yakima Canyon and southward of LT Murray Wildlife Area & generally toward SSE. Yakima Co. Sheriff's Office & @YakimaOEM still have Level 2 “Get Set” Evacs in place. Be prepared to evac & make necessary precautions.
