- Memetic Mutation: Late in the episode there's a scene of two Miles O'Briens from a few hours apart Talking to Themself. They try to hash out the Timey-Wimey Ball and end up doing some Lampshade Hanging with the simultaneous line, "I hate temporal mechanics." This became a popular fan response to time travel-related silliness.
