- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: As a result of being Denser and Wackier, the Heavy Metal version has quite a bunch of these. One such example is during the scene where Dora grabs some snakes under a rock, a small floating Mario head appears next to her and briefly sings to the lyrics before it suddenly gets vaporized by lasers from Dora's eyes.

- Hilarious in Hindsight: Dora dying repeatedly is funnier when you realize that her show was cancelled and then dethroned by PAW Patrol and the Dora reboot Dora was cancelled within around a year.
- Memetic Mutation: The entire song became a meme, especially the part where Dora gets hit by several cars for trying to save a puppy.
