Kommando Stortebeker (Western Animation)

Kommando Störtebeker is an animated movie based on the popular comic Ottifanten. The film is produced by TFC Trickompany Filmproduktion, while being distributed by UFA, and released on September 20, 2001.

Papa Paul gambled away 30,000 marks at the pig race. Too bad - because it wasn't even his money, but that of his boss. Now he'll use any means to get his hands on the dough again: The fairground or the Reeperbahn, the final match between St. Pauli and FC Bayern Munich and the filming of the new Bond - there is no place in Hamburg that is safe from Paul, and even the most popular North German island of Sylt has to take the fall in the end when it's time to go commando Störtebeker - the treasure and its consequences.

  • Accidental Pervert: Paul sees a naked Elephant in the shower in neighbor's house.
  • Amusement Park of Doom: one of the attractions at Störtebeker Park is Störtebeker Pirattenfahrt, starring a gang of musical animatronic elephant pirates.

  • Facial Composite Failure: The No Sign of the burglar is just a clip art of Paul.
  • The Grim Reaper: Played for Laughs, of course. Like when he meets an old farmer who thinks he was the new farmhand, for the scythe.
  • Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal: all the characters are anthropomorphic elephants wears clothes.
  • Headless Horseman: Störtebeker the Headless Pirate
  • I Just Want to Be Special: Normally Paul is good father with his wife the middle child, but here he loses a reasonable sum of money betting at pig races.
  • Match Cut: The ending has Green Parrot, cutting to clouds display at day.
  • Nice Guy: Opa Bommel, a very pleasant, kind-hearted person.
  • Oh Wait, This Is My Grocery List: A pirate captain with a Treasure Map: "Two steps, turn right, and... cha-cha-cha?"
  • Pirate Parrot: The Greet Parrot
  • Psycho Poodle: Neighbor has trained her Dog to bite, attack, and urinate on Paul at his arm.
  • Super-Scream: Paul Bommel loses a reasonable sum of money betting at pig races. However it all was meant as a donation for building a local hospital.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: Paul Bommel lost his money for donation for building a local hospital.
  • Treasure Map: The treasure is actually no gold.
  • What Are You in For?: Bruno asks this to his teddy. Who doesn't answer of course.
