Respawn
is a Webcomic by Surohorus released in 2020 on hiatus as of 2024. Respawn is a science fiction webcomic that focuses on Kris living on an Earth now inhabited by namulians an alien species created from when a human dies
Respawn provides examples of:
- Alien Blood: namulian blood comes in different colors which is also how they determine their genders
- Artificial Afterlife: the respawn system was created by the mysterious "golden namu"
- Body of Bodies: the amalgam is a creature made from 400 to 500 fused namus
- Really Seven Hundred Years Old: Suroh is physically 9 billion years old despite being mentally 11
- Reincarnation: whenever a human dies they reincarnate as a 1 death namu without their memories when a 1 death namu dies they become a 2 death namu and get their memories back
- Scenery-Based Societal Barometer: Dallas is shown to be surrounded by wasteland to show the devastation to earth that has happened
- The Protagonist: Kris is the protagonist of the main storyline
- Token Human: Kris is the only human in the main cast
- Time Abyss: Suroh has been alive for 9 billion years for reference Earth has been around for 4.5 billion years
- Winged Humanoid: all namus have wings that they can fold into their back
