Young, up-and-coming roboticist for Megacorp Zoe unveils her latest creation: the Interconnected Robot Impulse Servant, or I.R.I.S., the latest and greatest in android technology. Unfortunately for her, Zoe's demonstration is botched and her position in the company is stripped when Iris begins rattling on about the sexual applications of her design. Rather than be perturbed, Zoe, with the help of her friend Lola, fulfills Iris' desire to experience human sexuality and begin their own start-up company: Erotech, a provider of top-of-the-line toys, content, and sexual science!

Erotech is an ongoing Erotic Scifi-Comedy webcomic created by weez, FuShark and Brad Brown in 2019 on Slipshine. The comic can be found on the Slipshine website for subscribers. (We do not provide a direct link due to the occasional NSFW and general risqué nature of the strip.)

This webcomic provides examples of the following tropes:

• Does This Remind You of Anything?: When Zoe and Lola snatch up Cody and Iris off of the streets, Iris' facial recognition software cannot recognize either of them and, in her computer's attempt to compute a way to protect Cody from the dangers, causes her to short-circuit. As Zoe puts it, Iris misread the situation, has a panic attack, and faints from stress.
• Easily Detachable Robot Parts: The "Interconnected" part of Iris's acronym means that her parts are easily deattachable, Zoe often taking her head off as a demonstration as a Running Gag.
• Extreme Libido: When Iris first experiences stimulation after her upgrades into a Sex Bot, she manages to achieve a whopping 78 orgasms before Zoe and Lola stop her. Since she's a robot and thus has the stamina of one, it was very likely that she could have continued indefinitely until either her batteries ran out (which could have taken years) or until her robotic body suffered wear and tear.
• Friends with Benefits: Zoe and Lola engage in sex when given the opportunity, but they are just friends.
• The Immodest Orgasm: When Zoe and Lola test Iris' new upgrades, her first official orgasm lets off a massive electric discharge.
• MegaCorp: Named after the trope, Megacorp is the main antagonistic force in the plot. Because many of the components and robotic innovations used to create Iris are technically Megacorp property, Erotech would be put down and Iris confiscated should word get out to them about her existence. So far, Megacorp is more benign than most versions, being a Business of Generic Importance acting as a source of commonality for the main characters.
• Money Fetish: In her bio, Zoe's biggest dream is to get rich off of her inventions and swim naked in a pool of money.
• Perky Goth: Lola Adams wears all black and purple, they were a Funeral Home Caretaker before they worked for Megacorp, and their biggest dream is to make zombies and become a literal Queen of the Dead.
• Pizza Boy Special Delivery: Iris nearly answers the door completely naked and propositions the pizza guy, having seen this porn plot in her databanks. Zoe and Lola manage to snatch her away before it causes an incident.
• Porn with Plot: The webcomic is full of uncensored nudity and sexual activity and is definitely Not Safe for Work. It's also the story of a gynoid gaining self-awareness and her creators starting a business, forced to compete against a corporation that could very easily destroy them if they weren't careful.
• Ridiculously Human Robots: By total accident, Iris became this. Originally, she was a gynoid designed as a Robot Maid for commercial use, having only just enough of a personality to interest shareholders and the average consumer. Unfortunately, Iris was conscious while Zoe was masturbating while her software was updating and the robot developed an almost obsessive fascination with sex. This gets Zoe fired when Iris tries showing off her "pornographic" applications. Zoe infers that Iris' desire for sex despite not having been made for it is a sign that she has actually achieved "true AI", this being enough reason for her and Lola to make her into a genuine Sex Bot.
• Robosexual: Even after learning that she is a Sex Bot, Cody asks to join Erotech because he's taken a liking to Iris.
• Robot Maid: Iris was originally intended to be this, being a robotic servant used by the average consumer. Even after she's upgraded into a Sex Bot, Zoe and Lola still have her clean up the lab when she's not doing anything sexy, albeit with a pair of cat ears and nothing else.
  Lola: Distracting, huh?
  Zoe: Yeah... it's great, right?
• Sex Bot: Iris, though not originally. She was originally made to be a Robot Maid and lacked any of the anatomical equipment necessary to be used for sex. Using synthetic skin and a host of other upgrades, they manage to turn her into a machine almost indistinguishable from "the naked girl next door", making her capable of having sex and experiencing orgasms.
• Shout-Out: In Issue #3, Cody passes by Steg and Suria on the street.
• Technicolor Eyes: Iris's eyes were designed to be purple. After her upgrade into a Sex Bot, Zoe made it so that they glow hot pink whenever she's horny. Considering she's always horny, her eyes are always pink.
