Sonic Rebound is a fan made web animated series by GamerGuyd7Aces, acting as a Animated Adaptation of the IDW Sonic The Hedgehog comic series.
However, though it follows the stories from the comic, the creators have taken a few liberties with some of the material, so expect a few surprises here and there. Also, as you can imagine, since this is animated by fans this takes some time for them to make, so bear with them between releases.

Tropes
- Adaptational Early Appearance: In the comics Tangle isn't introduced till the forth issue alongside Blaze, while the Knuckles encounter was before that one. In this series, she shows up in the third episode, with the meeting with Knuckles showcased in the following episode.
- Animated Adaptation: A fan made version, but it's one for the Sonic IDW comics. At least initially.
- The Cameo: In episode four, two of the unwilling residents that serve Rough and Tumble include Spark the Electric Jester and Lilac.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Whisper shows up at the end of the first season. In the comic, she doesn't show up till Issue 8.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: When the scene with the Mysterious Villain, music from the soundtrack of Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) starts to play. The name of the piece? "Dr. Robotnik."
- Male Gaze: The thumbnail of the 6th episode has an image of Rouge with heavy emphasis on her rear.
- Ms. Fanservice: While Rouge has always been this, the animation of the series really highlights her attractiveness such as her sexy posing and large, jiggling breasts.
- Side Boob: Rouge basically flashes her chest sideways on episode 6 while she explains she's been keeping tabs on Eggman far better than the Chaotix themselves going as far as exclaiming they're bad at their job as detectives.
- Victoria's Secret Compartment: Rouge takes her G.U.N. card out from there.
- Wham Episode: Season one looks to end about the same as the comic. Sonic and Knuckles win the day while the perpetrator of the Badnik attacks is monitoring this. In the comic, this wasn't revealed until issue 9 where it seems to be Eggman but turns out to be Metal Sonic taking his guise, as, at the time, Eggman was suffering amnesia. Here, he's revealed earlier and it's the SatAM Robotnik! Signalling that this series might not be following the comics one for one as thought.
- Wham Line: "That will accelerate my plans...considerably. So says Robotnik!
- Wham Shot: Two in Episode 4.
- Whisper watching the aftermath of Sonic and Knuckles' victory against the Skunk Bros.
- SatAM Robotnik being the cause of the Badniks.
