Godzilla Vs Axor (Web Animation)
On today's episode, Godzilla is going to battle a lesser-known member of his rogues gallery, the serpentine-like monster, Axor.

Godzilla vs Axor is an animated short based on the Godzilla series. It is created by Vrahno and can be watched here.

This page contains the following tropes:

  • Accidental Misnaming: Happens at the end when Godzilla writes down "Aksor" before crossing out the second and third letters and adding in the "x".
  • Beam-O-War: Godzilla uses his Atomic Breath to clash against Axor's Hurricane Winds.
  • Berserk Button: Axor gets really pissed off whenever the Lazarus Well gets damaged.
  • Bloodier and Gorier: Compared to the episode its based on. The short doesn't shy away in seeing bodies and limbs being torn apart during the monster fight.
  • Brawler Lock: Between Godzilla and Axor before the former tries to fire his Atomic Breath and the latter kicks him away.
  • Healing Factor: This short showcases this feat extremely well, especially when it helps Godzilla to survive fatal situations.
  • Impending Doom P.O.V.: We see a brief look at Axor's POV as he observes Godzilla before coming down to attack him.
  • Improvised Weapon: Godzilla uses his now skeletal arm to attack Axor, then striking it right through the monster.
  • Mythology Gag: Godzilla having fire in his eyes is based on Godzilla: Final Wars when he is freed from Area-G.
  • Oh, Crap!: Axor has this upon seeing Godzilla unleashing his Red Spiral Heat Ray.
  • Slashed Throat: Axor bites onto Godzilla's neck and rips a chunk of flesh out of it. It doesn't last long.
  • Stealthy Colossus: Godzilla is able to sneak up on Axor while he is distracted with repairing the Lazarus Well.
  • Stripped to the Bone: Happens to Axor when Godzilla fires his Red Spiral Heat Ray onto him. He gets better.
