
Temtem: Swarm is a "bullet heaven" Temtem spinoff developed by Crema. It entered early access on Steam in 2024 before entering its full release on April 2, 2026.
On each map, players must survive waves of enemies for 20 minutes while their chosen Temtem automatically attack. The Framing Device is that these battles are simulations Temtems inside storage are put through to keep them healthy and occupied.
This game contains examples of:
- Asteroids Monster: Upon defeat, a Nidrasil splits into three Orphyll.
- Guide Dang It!: The game doesn't make it clear that the kudos to unlock the "learn [type] moves" skill node, which is learning every technique of that type, also counts the ability to learn the synergized version of a technique as its own technique meaning you'll have to level up every technique to max at least once to get the kudos.
- No Plot? No Problem!: The only "lore" to speak of is some Flavor Text on the loading screens saying this is a training simulation.
- Piñata Enemy: The "Catch the Rat" event tasks the player with attacking a Hazrat that drops a large amount of currency or experience points.
