Tempus Triad is a first-person Survival Horror game developed by Mendesz.
A group of scientists have been carrying out experiments with a substance called dark matter, which allows them to manipulate the boundaries of space and time. Unfortunately, something has gone wrong, and prehistoric creatures have been reappearing on the earth.
The player character is a physicist who wishes to use the dark matter's time manipulation properties to try and bring his wife and daughter back to life after losing them in an accident. Unfortunately, his attempt backfires and sends him to a different dimension where dinosaurs are on the prowl. The physicist must now avoid being killed by the dinosaurs and get back to his own time.
The game is due for release sometime in 2026. Until then, the demo can be downloaded from Steam.
Tropes:
- Can't Move While Being Watched: The Therizinosaurus is one of the dinosaurs that the player must avoid, but it can only move if the player isn't looking at it.
- Peek-a-Boo Corpse: Before the player encounters the Therizinosaurus, the corpse of a stag falls onto a shipping container.
- Terrifying Tyrannosaur: At the end of the demo, the player reaches a wrecked helicopter, then he turns around to see a T-Rex looking at him with Glowing Eyes of Doom.
- Terror-dactyl: At one point the player looks up to the sky and sees the silhouette of a huge Pterosaur gliding through the clouds. In the demo, it isn't a threat, but that may change with the full game.
