Poke Night Showdown is a Friday Night Funkin' Game Mod based on Pokémon creepypastas, directed by P_Mudkip.

The main story so far is a retelling of Abandoned PokéDoll, which is based on Banette's description in the Pokédex: Girlfriend here had one when she was a child, until she threw him to the dumpster once she grew up. Now she's waiting to become a Pokémon trainer for tomorrow, but one night, Banette appears at her window, furious and wanting to take revenge on what he thought was his best friend.

Poke Night Showdown features examples of:

• Canon Immigrant: Purin is based on a creepy Jigglypuff image, but she's named and is a well-defined character in Friday Night Funkin' Lullaby rather than coming from a Poképasta. Nevertheless, she's present in this mod as well.
• Mood Whiplash: The mod in general is a horror one, but the menu music is a remix of "Driftveil City", a.k.a. the Dancing Toothless song.
• P.O.V. Cam: "Failed Spawn" features Boyfriend in a first-person perspective as he's seeing Purin.
• Suddenly Speaking: Much like Hypno, Banette is able to talk in this mod instead of communicating through Pokémon Speak.
• Yandere: Being based on the creepypasta Sweet Kiss, the eponymous song's Gardevoir has a psychotic crush on her trainer, and wants to have him all for herself, to the point of even killing other Pokémon.
