Little Alchemy 2 is a puzzle Browser Game (and also a Mobile Phone Game) and sequel to the original Little Alchemy. Much like the original game, you combine items together to make new items. You start with only the four Classical Elements; Fire, Water, Earth and Air. By combining these in different ways and by then combining the results of these combinations, you can make up to 720 different items, from airplanes to farms to ideas to planes to unicorns. Your goal is to find every combination for every item.

The game can be played on browser or mobile. Exclusive to mobile is the Myths & Monsters pack, which adds four additional starter elements; Good, Evil, Immortality and Monster. Combining these elements together, alongside those from the base game, allows for the discovery of an additional 110 mythological/fictional creatures.

• Alchemy Is Magic: Despite the name, the game doesn't have much to do with alchemy, with a lot of the combinations creating things that are completely different from its materials.

• All Trolls Are Different: Troll is one of the creatures you can create in the Myths & Monsters pack by combining either Monster or Giant with Bridge, Cave, Mountain, or Mountain Range. In this this game, they are depicted as ugly humanoids with huge noses, warts and pointy ears and its description calls them "giant, unhelpful and quarrelsome monsters".
• Anti-Frustration Features: This game introduces a few, which were not available in the first game.
  • Combinations can only be made once. Attempting to merge items that have already been merged before will just lead to a popup reminder of what item has been unlocked from this combination.
  • Final and depleted items will be removed outright by clicking on them.

• Asian Fox Spirit: Combining Fox with Deity creates Kitsune.

• Father Time: Made by combining Time with Deity and Grim Reaper with Good.
• Feathered Serpent: Quetzalcoatl is made by combining Deity with Snake or Rainforest.
• Fire and Brimstone Hell: Hell is represented as a stairway leading to a door full of fire and with two little horns on top.
• Fluffy Cloud Heaven: Heaven is represented as a stairway leading to a door full of clouds with two wings and a halo on top.

• A Winner Is You:
  • After discovering every element, a short animation of several elements spinning around, before being consumed by an expanding yellow circle. After all the items are consumed by the sphere, it pops and the message "All Items Discovered!" is displayed. The game then returns to the main dashboard, with a pop-up appearing that encourages the player to find all remaining combinations.
  • After discovering every combination, another animation occurs where a black circle appears and grows largers, with a slightly larger white circle growing behind it to create the image of a solar eclipse. The eclipse then bursts, expelling elements around as it is consumed by a blinding white light, followed by the message "everything discovered!" being displayed. The game once again returns to the main dashboard, with another pop-up appearing congratulating the player and encouraging them to try out the art mode.
