Huntsman is an indie horror game developed by OnTheHouse Studios. You are the new security guard at Atherton Laboratories and you must try to find the key ingredients in order to kill an enormous spider named X-27 that has escaped from the containment units and devoured everyone else in the facility.

Tropes:
- Abandoned Laboratory: The game is set in one of these. Several giant spiders were apparently created here.
- Featureless Protagonist: As this is a first-person game, we don't have any idea of what the main protagonist looks like.
- Giant Spider: There's a wide variety of giant spiders for the player to avoid in the game. The most common ones are large brown Huntsmen, but other varieties include Orb weaver spiders, trapdoor spiders and even a tarantula.
- Lightning Bruiser: The Huntsmen normally move at a pretty slow speed, but should you try to run away from it, it can quickly charge towards you, and if it catches you, it's over.
- No Name Given: The protagonist is unnamed. All we know about him is that he used to work in the laboratory where a huge number of giant spiders were created.
- One-Hit Kill: If the one of the spiders touches the player, it's instant death for you.
- Tagline: "Forget everything and run. Fear has eight legs."
- You Are Already Dead: The tarantula usually resides in an area that has loads of webbing in it. Should you walk into this webbing, the tarantula will come rushing towards your location, at which point, your death is pretty much guaranteed.
