Like the game it's based on, the survivors must avoid the Exe for as long as possible until 1:20, where the green ring opens for them to escape.

Tropes:

• Adaptational Badass: Vanilla became a much more capable fighter here thanks to Undyne training her.
• Big Bad: Vortex serves as the main antagonist of the game, causing the multiversal collapse.
• Characters Sharing a Slot:
  • Vortex has a skin turning him into Seelkadoom from Sonic RPG.
  • Sonic has skins that turn him into Blaze the Cat and Metal Sonic.
  • Frisk's Static skin turns them into Hatsune Miku, specifically the one from Flavor Foley's song "Static".
  • Monika's Gaster Skin turns her into W.D Gaster from Undertale.
• Evil Laugh: The killers each have a button that allows them to laugh.
• EX Special Attack: Mugman's "EX-Shot" ability; though it is obtained differently from how it is in Cuphead. Instead of parrying a pink attack, every Peashooter shot landed on an executioner grants Mugman a Super Art Card, granting him access to the aforementioned EX-Shot, a much bigger version of Peashooter that stuns executioners temporarily if it hits.

    • Vortex gets a skin where he dresses up as Alastor from Hazbin Hotel.
    • Yuri gets a skin where she dresses up as the witch costume Lila wears in Spooky Month.
    • Chara gets a skin where they dress up as Six from Little Nightmares.
    • Sonic gets a skin where he dresses up as Kris from Deltarune
    • Cream gets a skin where she dresses up as Frankenstein.
    • Vanilla gets a skin where she dresses up as Frankenstein's Monster.
    • Eggman gets a skin where he dresses up as Crazy Dave from Plants vs. Zombies.
    • Bendy gets a skin where he dresses up as Betelgeuse.
    • Boris gets a skin where he dresses up as Dracula.
    • Cuphead gets a skin based off Skid from Spooky Month.
    • Mugman gets a skin based off Pump from Spooky Month.
    • Monika gets a skin where she dresses up as an angel, a costume found in official art related to Doki Doki Literature Club!.
    • Sayori gets a skin where she dresses up as a cow, a costume found in official art related to Doki Doki Literature Club!.
    • Sans gets a skin where he dresses up as Reapertale Sans.
    • Frisk gets a skin based off Temmie from Undertale.
• Heal Thyself: Downplayed, Frisk and Sayori can both do this. Frisk's "Sea Tea" ability, giving them fifteen health back and Sayori's "Heal" ability heals her two health every half second for five seconds.
• Heel–Face Turn: Monika joins the Survivors since she lost her powers during the multiversal collapse and realised her wrong doings.
• Last Stand: This occurs if one survivor remains living on the map with no others remaining, with a custom Last Man Standing theme playing depending on the character. Some survivor's kits are changed to give them more of a chance; Frisk for example being given "Stick Swing" replacing "Act" and "Pull" being turned into a grapple allowing them to move around the map more efficiently.
• Massive Multiplayer Crossover: The game features characters from the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog, Undertale, Doki Doki Literature Club!, Cuphead and Bendy and the Ink Machine.
• Necromancer: When a survivor is killed by an executioner, they have the option to be brought back as minions under the title of "Minion.exe". Said minions then work with the executioner, attempting to kill other survivors, most abilities now replaced with an "Attack".
• NO INDOOR VOICE: Besides her pre-round dialogue, all of Yuri's in-game voice lines are loud shouts, laughs and grunts.
