  • If I Can't Have You…: Gaspar's mindset when he destroyed the theater.
  • The Resenter: Gaspar grew jealous of Marcel as he proved himself just as talented in music, if not more than him, which triggered his murderous envy.

    Lethal Letters
  • Single Parents Are Undesirable: Oksana's mother apparently claim that is the reason why she abandoned her. She wanted to marry Duke Bolshakov but he wouldn't marry a single mother so she gave Oksana up to Oksana's stepfather and promised to send them money.
  • Unknown Relative: It is later revealed that that Oksana is actually Irina's older half sister through their shared mother who abandoned Oksana to marry Irina's father.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Despite being raised by a fisherman Oksana hated water combined with her inability to swim in general. She only turned herself in the bonus chapter as she ended up on a boat heading out to sea and she begged the protagonist to turn around to go back to dry land as she hated water that much.

    Ominous Obsession
  • Wax Museum Morgue: Baron Meyer makes plaster statues out of ballerinas dressed and posed to imitate photos of his late sister Katherine.

    Florentine Elegy
  • Clear My Name: The goal of the protagonist after being framed for murdering their teacher.

    Curse of the Banshee
  • Bad Boss: In the bonus chapter, the new owner of the troupe treats the heroine and her brother badly to the point he locked her brother away just for messing up his performance.
  • Big Sister Instinct: When your brother is kidnapped by the banshee, you go out of your way to rescue him.
  • Go Mad from the Isolation: Your mother's imprisonment in her husband's basement after being brought back to him didn't have the greatest effect on her mental health.
  • Mal Mariée: Your mother pursued a secret relationship with a traveling step-dancer (your father) because she was forced to marry an older wealthy man against her will.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Your mother has this moment when she realizes she nearly attacked her own daughter.

    A Lover's Pledge
  • Same Plot Sequel: The premise of A Lover's Pledge sounds eerily similar to that of the first game, The Last Adagio.
