Chicken Run: Eggstraction (Video Game)
Chicken Run: Eggstraction is a 2025 stealth/action-adventure video game created by Aardman Animations and published by children's licensed game company Outright Games for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC/Steam.

Set three months after the events of Dawn of the NuggetEggstraction is a stealth-based adventure in which players take control of Molly, Rocky, Frizzle, Babs, Bunty, Mac, and Fowler as they set off on a mission to rescue more chickens from various chicken farms. The game focuses heavily on stealth-based action, and in each level, players must help the chickens hide in bins, disguise themselves as traffic cones, or leg it in a full-blown panic (whatever works) to achieve their goal. Of course, being a stealth-based game, they'll also have to sneak their way past CCTV cameras, humans, and other enemies. Luckily, they have a huge array of weapons, ranging from a frying pan to an alarm clock, to stun enemies and keep those hazards at bay. The game also supports two-player co-op.

It is the first video game released on both PC and consoles to be based on an Aardman property since 2009's Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures note , and also the very first Aardman video game to be entirely produced in-house rather than work with a different developer to make it note .

This game provides examples of:

  • Adapted Out: Mrs. Tweedy didn't make any appearances in the game despite her name being mentioned.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Part of Smith's final words:
Reginald Smith: You ruined my recipe! You destroyed my empire! You dented my armor!
  • Big Bad: Reginald Smith.
  • Child Soldier: The Hockeysticks Guards in the Camp Hockeysticks level are portrayed by female children in Girl Scout uniforms.
  • Co-Op Multiplayer: The game can be played with two players in co-op.
  • Difficulty Level: The game has two difficulty levels: "Classic Mode", which is more challenging and has more control and is recommended for more experienced gamers, and "Story Mode", which has less danger and complexity and is recommended for casual gamers and new players.
  • Disney Villain Death: Reginald Smith ended up into this after he tripped himself from a top to a bottom of the tower.
  • Evil Laugh:
    • When you and your ally got hit by Reginald's sword.
    • Captain Drumsticks tries this as he descends his lighthouse, but said lighthouse is so long (and he's probably out of shape) that by the time he gets to the door, he's out of breath.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: The way the villains talk to the chickens is framed as though they're talking to the player(s).
  • Never Say "Die": Subverted in the final boss:
Reginald: I have to admire your "never say die" attitude... though, just to be clear, you are about to die.
  • The Unfought: Mr. Chump and the Sauce Key Guardians are this. Once you, your ally, and the chickens you freed had encountered them in-game, you'll not get to fight them, but instead, it will trigger a cutscene which ends up in Karma Houdini saving for Lady Peckingham, who ends up in a Heel–Face Brainwashing (and possibly sacrificed).
