- Schedule Slip: The comic has had its fair share of missed or delayed upload dates. Chapter 4 infamously took three years to finish, with a long pause from June to November 2023. McGee explained that he had finished his job at Nickelodeon and felt too worn out from over two years of work to do much of anything.
- Working Title: Before it was published, the comic was to be titled boX Impact, but McGee would eventually find out that the name was already used by a design company, prompting the change in April 2018.
