The tale of a brave knight....on the surface at least
This second minisode of Joker Presents is a Whole-Plot Reference to Don Quixote, where a knight fights through evil to save a princess and be hailed as a hero...or at least, that is what it was on the surface.
Tropes present:
- Art Shift: This minisode has a different art style from what the main 13 Cards series uses, resembling that of Clones In The Soup.
- Damsel in Distress: The supposed princess that Dalgophilon Sukihalix saved from the tower. It was actually a fountain.
- Dead-Hand Shot: The minisode ends with Dalgophilon dying from illness with only his falling hand showing.
- Fractured Fairy Tale: This minisode is a slight retelling of Don Quixote with Felix as Don Quixote and Dante as Sancho Panza.
- Gray Rain of Depression: This occurs after Dalgophilon Sukihalix's delusion is broken and when he gets sick, symbolizing how much of a complete fool he made out of himself.
- Hats Off to the Dead: Dancho does this after Dalgophilon dies from illness.
- Musical Episode: The entire episode is stated in song form.
- Through the Eyes of Madness: The story tells the tale of a brave knight named Dalgophilon Sukihalix and his sidekick Dancho that saved a princess from a giant and a sorcerer's army & was hailed as a hero....Except that wasn't what happened per The Knight of the Broken Heart. The sorcerer's army? A flock of sheep. The giant? A shepherd. The princess that Dalgophilon rescued? A fountain statue. The cheering crowd? They are actually laughing AT HIM!

- Windmill Crusader: Much like the story it was based on, Dalgophilon Sukihalix genunely believed he was saving a princess from evil until The Knight of the Broken Heart pointed out otherwise.
