In an effort to bond with his Stoolbend friends (after Peter Griffin tries to bail out of hanging with Cleveland), Cleveland takes them on a camping trip hosted by WWE wrestler Ric Flair (who plays himself).

- Freudian Excuse: When Peter shows up to rescue Cleveland from the rednecks, he apologizes for saying they weren't real friends, and that after their last meeting, he'd started attending therapy that helped him realize he'd been projecting his abandonment issues caused by his father on Cleveland; because Cleveland moved away, Peter subconsciously tried to "hurt" him first by pushing him away rather than risk being hurt himself.
- Hillbilly Horrors: Cleveland has to be saved from rednecks by Peter, leading to this exchange:Cleveland: Thanks, Peter! How did you know we were here?
Peter: Well, I felt bad after you left Quahog, so I called your house. Your wife said you were doing a friendship thing in the woods, and I immediately thought; "Well, this is going to end in hillbilly rape." So I tracked you down, and here I am. - Mouthing the Profanity: As Peter tries to get one of his car keys to start his car and Cleveland tries to show his presence, Peter stops panicking and inaudibly mouths "fuck".
- Ow, My Body Part!: Happens to Lester after Cleveland blindly hits his face with an oar: "My tooths!"
- Self-Deprecation: After saving Cleveland and his friends from getting raped by the hillbillies, Peter lampshades that if they'd done this plot on Family Guy, the rape would not just have happened, they would have shown it on-screen, then done a musical number about it.Cleveland: And I would just have been The Black Guy...

- The Voice: Brian and Stewie are only heard inside the Griffin house.[Cleveland walks up the front door and rings the doorbell as Brian barks]

Brian: Uh, we don't want any candy bars.
Stewie: Or magazines.
Cleveland: Brian, it's Cleveland.
Brian: Oh. Hi, Cleveland.
Stewie: Has he been cancelled already? He just doesn't get to come back.
Cleveland: Is Peter home?
Brian: He... is... [whispers to Peter] It's Cleveland!... [out loud, to Cleveland] ...Not.
