Camp Everwood seems like the perfect opportunity for Tommy's horror movie to take flight, especially when they learn the curse of Camp Everwood. The camp package contains brain-eating zombies, missing settlers, creepy pioneer Rock, the worst musical in history (Starring—who else? Angelica Pickles), and a mystery that is just dying to be solved. But when people start to go missing, can Tommy and the gang figure out just what happened on that same soil, over 100 years ago?
Tropes:
- Bittersweet Ending: Tommy and his friends had a great time at Camp Everwood, but his video ends with Bean's spirit telling them "Don't never got no brain or nothin."
- Camping Episode: The episode has the gang go to Camp Everwood for a week.
- Crack Defeat: No-talent Angelica Pickles and talented singer Susie Carmichael are auditioning for the lead in a camp musical. After all is said and done, both Kimi and Lil think Susie had the better audition for the lead role in the play (although we have to take their word for it). However, come play time, she's only in a supporting role.
- Darker and Edgier: Compared to the show's usual tone anyway.
- Dead All Along: Bean turns out to be a ghost after the gang finds an old picture of the Everwood settlers.
- Extra-Long Episode: Double length to be precise.
- Fishing for Sole: Chuckie thinks he caught a fish, but it turns out to be an accordion.
- Friendly Ghost: It turns out that Dil's friend Bean, was one of the missing settlers the gang was searching for, and while he does give them a scare at the end of the episode, it seems more so as a playful prank than outright malice, as he does seem grateful to his friends for helping solve the mystery of his family and community.
- Gainax Ending: The episode ends with Bean's ghost haunting Tommy's home video, but nothing else seems to come of it.
- Human Traffic Jam: Dil, Howard, Stu and Charlotte are walking until they stop at a dead end before they turn and see the big rock.
- Season Finale: This is the final episode of the first season.
