- Justified: It's their favourite sport.
- Inverted:
- Alice and Bob partake in all sports but baseball in one episode.
- Alice and Bob is primarily about their baseball team. One episode is about them taking a break from it.
- Subverted: Alice and Bob go into a ballpark... only to pick up a hot dog then leave.
- Double Subverted: The exit is where the baseball game happens.
- Averted: Baseball isn't mentioned theough the entire show.
- Defied: Bob, who is under extreme duress over the true events of the episode, says something along the lines of "I have better things to do with my life than baseball" and refuses to play, watch or go to the game (Alice, probably because she is concerned about Bob's extreme shift in attitude, decides not to do anything baseball-related either and help him).
- Played for Drama: The Trope Co. Tarantulas are off against their primary Opposing Sports Team: The Encyclo PLC. Earthworms, and they've just hired their most fearsome player yet: Clay, who's either a pitcher so strong that he busts noses daily, or a baseball bat hitter who either has two moods: Powershot out of the ball park, or powershot directly into the pitcher's face.
