Lipps Inc. was an American disco group from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are known for their one and only worldwide hit song, 1980's "Funkytown".

The group was created in 1979 by songwriter and producer Steven Greenberg. Cynthia Johnson was the main vocalist of the group, and the other members were session musicians who played bass and guitar. They broke up in 1985.
