Goblin (Sulli) (Music)
This is a story about a person with disassociative disorder. She is with herself and with three other personalities.

"Goblin" is the only solo single by former f(x) member Sulli. The song was released as a three-track maxi-single with B-sides "On the Moon" and "Dorothy" on June 29, 2019, four years after she left f(x) and three and a half months before her suicide in October 2019. The song and music video deal with disassociative identity disorder, with the video featuring Sulli in the role of three "goblins" who are her character's split personalities.

I just wanna trope you hi:

  • Concept Video: About a person suffering from disassociative identity disorder.
  • Foreshadowing: The first goblin is seen hiding behind a chair from three people who are set up as her split personalities, while the second goblin is surrounded by a different group of people. Those three people turn up later as assistants to the third goblin, who is out to kill the first one.
  • One-Person Birthday Party: Sulli holds a birthday party for herself and her split personalities, who disappear after she blows out the candles.
  • The Ophelia: Sulli looks elegant and youthful while also sporting heavy makeup and (as the second goblin) messy hair as she suffers from hallucinations of other people she thinks are embodiments of her split personality.
  • Reluctant Psycho: Sulli in the video knows she has mental problems and wants to end them.
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: Sulli's character has pink hair and wants to be friendly despite being compromised by her mental health issues.
"Don't be afraid, I just want to tell you hi."
  • Split Personality: The video portrays a character with a dissociative disorder.
  • Talky Bookends: The music video begins and ends with Sulli's character discussing her split personalities.
  • Very Special Episode: The video states up front that it's about a person dealing with disassociative identity disorder.
  • Wham Shot: Sulli's split personalities are proven to be antagonistic when a knife-wielding Sulli (as the third goblin) bangs on a door, prompting another Sulli (as the first goblin) to wake up in horror.
