• Anchovies Are Abhorrent: Anchovies are disgusting, especially as a pizza topping.
• Ate the Plate: A character eats the container alongside the food.
• Ate the Spoon: A liquid dissolves/deforms the spoon used to stir it.
• Bad Taste Call-Out: Someone is called out for enjoying a food (or something else) that everyone else finds disgusting.
• Bad to the Last Drop: Cruddy coffee.
• Bizarre Taste in Food: Someone enjoys food or combinations of food that others may find gross.
• Blazing Inferno Hellfire Sauce: Ridiculously spicy food, inedible to all but the most masochistic of diners.
• Boring Grown-Up Wheat Flakes: Plain, healthy "grown-up" cereals are perceived as tasteless and boring, especially by children.
• Clothes-Eating Wager: You lost the bet; now you have to eat a piece of your clothes.
• Cordon Bleugh Chef: Strange combinations of food in a meal.
• Dads Can't Cook: Dad takes over the cooking from Mom and doesn't do a good job.
• Discreet Dining Disposal: Secretly getting rid of a food you're given because you dislike it.
• Discreet Drink Disposal: Someone discreetly gets rid of a drink that they do not wish to consume for whatever reason.
• Disgusting Vegetarian Food: Vegetarian food is gross.
• Does Not Like Spam: Someone hates a certain food.
• Dog Food Diet: A character is so poor that they resort to eating dog food.
• Eat Dirt, Cheap: Eating rocks or dirt, sometimes due to desperation.
• Eating Pet Food: Someone accidentally eats food intended for pets.
• Eating Shoes: Characters eating shoes for various reasons or just for comedy.
• Even the Rats Won't Touch It: Something so disgusting, even vermin or other animals won't eat it.
• Everyone Hates Fruit Cakes: Fruitcake is gross, inedible, and given as a Christmas present only to people you hate.
• Expensive Glass of Crap: Bad, cheap wine passed off as an expensive vintage.
• Extreme Omnivore: A character who will eat anything, no matter how gross or inedible.
• The Food Poisoning Incident: Somebody eats bad food and gets sick.
• Foreign Queasine: Foreign food is gross.
• Foul Cafeteria Food: Cafeteria food is portrayed as revolting.
• Foul Fast Food: Fast food is depicted as disgusting and harmful.
• Foul First Drink: Alcohol tastes awful to first-time drinkers.
• Foul Medicine: Medicine that tastes really bad.
• Fly in the Soup: Someone finds a fly in their soup.
• Gargle Blaster: Extremely strong alcohol.
• Garlic Is Abhorrent: Garlic is seen as disgusting, toxic, or lower-class for its taste and/or smell.
• Greens Precede Sweets: A kid has to force down veggies before they can get dessert.
• Gruel and Unusual Punishment: A bland food given as punishment.
• Haggis Is Horrible: Haggis (a traditional Scottish dish) is considered a disgusting food in fiction.
• Hates Common Food: The upper-class are not fans of food for "the common-folk".
• Haute Cuisine Is Weird: Rich people eat weird, fancy food.
• Hideous Hangover Cure: Something gross or strange eaten to cure a hangover.
• Hot Sauce Drinking: Chugging hot sauce like it's a drink.
• I Ate WHAT?!: Someone eats or drinks something, realizes what it actually was, and wishes they hadn't consumed it.
• I Do Not Like Green Eggs and Ham: Someone despises a food until actually trying it and declaring their love for it once they do.
• If It Tastes Bad, It Must Be Good for You: Yucky food = healthy food.
• I Got a Rock: Getting things that aren't candy on Halloween, including apples and raisins.
• It Came from the Fridge: Food that's gone so rotten, it comes alive.
• It Tastes Like Feet: A Stock Phrase used to describe something that tastes bad.
• Kids Hate Vegetables: It's hard to get children to enjoy eating their vegetables.
• Klatchian Coffee: Coffee that is so strong that it tastes terrible and has far more caffeine than regular coffee.
• Lethal Chef: Someone is terrible at cooking.
• Lethal Eatery: A restaurant that serves lousy food.
• Madness-Induced Omnivore: A character is eating disgusting and non-edible things, but they're too crazy to care.
• Masochist's Meal: A disgusting or dangerous food, eaten as a test of courage rather than for pleasure.
• Mess on a Plate: Someone is handed a very nasty-looking meal on a plate.
• Metal Muncher: Using metal as food.
• Mock Meal: A cheap, crappy substitute version of better-quality food.
• Mystery Meat: Strange meat from an unknown source.
• Nondescript, Nasty, Nutritious: Food eaten solely for survival reasons, with zero texture or taste.
• Only One Who Likes Spam: Everyone hates a certain food except this guy.
• Paste Eater: Kids like the taste of things that are normally inedible.
• Pineapple Ruins Pizza: Pineapple does NOT belong on pizza!
• Poverty Food: Low-quality, gross, or cheap food eaten by poor people, for lack of other options.
• Put Off Their Food: Someone losing their appetite when someone says something gross that relates to their food.
• Raisins Are Revolting: "Ewwww, raisins!"
• Razor Apples: Dangerous stuff hidden in food, especially Halloween candy.
• Reduced to Ratburgers: Eating rats out of desperation.
• Roadkill for Dinner: Cooking and eating roadkill.
• Sniff Sniff Nom: Trying to identify a mysterious substance by tasting it.
• Soup of Poverty: Cheap, low-quality soup eaten by the poor.
• Spit Out a Shoe: A monster spits out something inedible after eating someone.
• Stock "Yuck!": Types of food that everybody hates.
• Strange Soda: Often made to simulate foods that aren't tasty in soda form (such as pizza).
• A Tankard of Moose Urine: Beer that tastes terrible.
• Tastes Like Disdain: Rejecting food or drink offered by someone you dislike.
• Too Desperate to Be Picky: Being so desperate not to starve, you'll eat anything, no matter how disgusting or inedible.
• Too Spicy for Yog-Sothoth: A person turns out to be too much for a much more powerful being to try and eat.
• Trapped at the Dinner Table: Being forced to sit at the dinner table until you finish a meal you hate.
• Trojan Veggies: A parent has to trick their child into eating something, usually vegetables, by hiding them inside something tastier or giving them a flashy nickname.
• Wacky Cravings: A pregnant woman craves strange foods or even inedible objects.
• Way Past the Expiration Date: A joke involving consuming something way past its expiration date.
• Weird World, Weird Food: A wacky world different from our own is demonstrated by the unusual food they offer, which may be off-putting to newcomers.
• Worm in an Apple: Someone finds a worm in an apple.
• Your Brain Won't Be Much of a Meal: Someone's brain is considered undesirable for a Brain Eater.
• You're Drinking Breast Milk: Character drinks stored breast milk instead of a different kind of milk.
