- Adult Hater: A character who hates adults.
- Affection-Hating Kid: A child who hates seeing people express affection or expressing affection themselves.
- Can't Take Criticism: A character gets angry whenever they receive the slightest bit of criticism.
- Cats Hate Water: Cats don't like getting into or even touching water.
- Child Hater: A person who dislikes children.
- Clothes for Christmas Cringe: A character gets a gift which they don't like, that being clothes.
- Con Men Hate Guns: Con artists dislike using firearms in their schemes.
- Cop Hater: A person has nothing but contempt for law enforcement.
- Dating What Daddy Hates: A woman spites her father by dating the kind of person he doesn't like.
- Disco Sucks: A character hates disco.

- Does Not Like Men: A woman who hates men.
- Does Not Like Spam: A particular kind of food that the character despises.
- Doesn't Like Guns: A character who has an aversion towards using firearms.
- Do Not Call Me "Paul": A character who usually goes by an alias or nickname hates being addressed by their proper name.
- Don't Call Me "Sir": A person in authority doesn't like being referred to by their formal title.

- Even the Loving Hero Has Hated Ones: There are some people so vile that even an All-Loving Hero just can't help but hate them.
- Everybody Hates Hades: The god of death/the dead is the most despised of the setting's deities.

- Everyone Hates Fruit Cakes: Nobody wants to touch yet alone eat the traditional Christmas dessert.
- Everyone Hates Mimes: Mimes are considered weird and creepy.
- Hair Color Angst: A character dislikes their natural hair color.
- Hated Item Makeover: A character hates it when a second character gives their item a makeover.
- Hates Baths: A character dislikes having to bathe.

- He-Man Woman Hater: A man who hates women.
- I Do Not Like Green Eggs and Ham: The story revolves around a character refusing to try something they're sure they won't like before eventually giving in and finding that they actually do like it after all.
- Improv Comedy Is Inane: Improv comedy is depicted as the least popular form of comedy.
- Jaded Professional: A character who used to enjoy their job, but they now hate it.

- The Misophonic: A character who doesn't like certain noises.
- Nature Abhors a Vacuum Cleaner: Animals, especially pets, don't like vacuum cleaners.
- The One Thing I Don't Hate About You: A character can admit to appreciating an aspect of someone or something they otherwise dislike.
- Only One Who Likes Spam: A particular kind of food that everyone except for one character despises.
- Parental Squabble Scare: Kids don't like listening to their parents fight.
- Profanity Police: A person doesn't like hearing other people use swear words.
- Raisins Are Revolting: A character hates raisins.
- Rap Is Crap: A character hates rap.
- Soccer-Hating Americans: Americans don't like soccer.
- Teen Hater: A character who dislikes teenagers.
- Trapped at the Dinner Table: A child would rather sit at the table for hours than eat a food they hate.
- Trojan Veggies: Kids Hate Vegetables, so parents have to hide them in a different food to get them to be eaten.
