Go To

Tropes for the film:

  • Lame Comeback: Senator Claxton (who is trying to use the current case against Jay Garvey's friend as an example why Spring Break should be banned) and Jay, the titular "Spring Break Lawyer", are having a verbal joust during a break in court.
Sen. Claxton: You're going to wish you never got off that plane".
Jay Garvey: Well, you're going to wish you never got off your... plane".
  • Mistaken for Prostitute: Inverted. Jay's friend goes for a walk while at Spring Break and sees a girl on a street corner. It's blatantly obvious to anyone but him that she's a hooker, but he assumes that all her talk is just foreplay, even when she asks if he has cash. Except she's not a hooker but a cop, and he gets busted for soliciting a prostitute.
  • Tagline: "Justice has hit the beach!".
