The Loud House: Revamped is an insanely longnote The Loud House-based Massive Multiplayer Crossover Script Fic-type fanfic duology created by American fanfic writer Jamesdean5842 and published on FanFiction.Net. The first fic
, also titled The Loud House: Revamped, premiered on October 20, 2017 and was updated (almost) daily until its closure on February 20, 2024, ending with a total of 2,328 chapters. The second fic
, titled The Loud House: Revamped 2 - Embodiment, began soon after on February 21st, 2024, a day after the first fic ended.
In July 2025, both fics were deleted from FanFiction.Netnote , but are still available via Internet archiving (here
on the Internet Archive, here
as text files, and here
as PDF files); all of the first fic's chapters up to Chapter 423 are also still officially available on Jamesdean5842's blog
on The Loud House's wiki on FANDOM and his DeviantArt gallery (wherein they're accompanied by numerous images not seen in the FanFiction version). Jamesdean5842 had initially expressed that he wanted to move on from the fics after learning about their deletion, putting Embodiment in indefinite hiatus. However, since March 31, 2026, he's begun uploading new chapters of Embodiment to his DeviantArt account, then deleting them from it once they've been ported over to the Omegaherox1 DeviantArt account, which seems to be his official host of reuploads of both the first fic
and Embodiment
(albeit with all chapters outside of the new ones being out of order).
The first fic involves a self-insert of the author himself, referred to as James Dean "J.D." Knudson, and his family becoming best friends with the Loud family from The Loud House after moving to their hometown of Royal Woods, Michigan, and focus on the diversity of subsequent adventures they have together. The fic started off as a simple Fix Fic-like story that recreated various canon The Loud House episodes with J.D. and his family's presence and their involvement in the episodes' events. However, after the first few dozen chapters (a progress started by "Chapter 20: The Woodpecker Friend"), it eventually turned into a gargantuan Massive Multiplayer Crossover, with the main characters forming a hero team named Team Loud Phoenix Storm (abbreviated to TLPS) and going on missions wherein they fight a massive array of antagonists from other media, while befriending more characters along the way (some of which are also self-inserts of Jamesdean5842's friends).
There's an unofficial audiobook
by Gugglebum of the Gaemor YouTube channel
(plus three
quiz
videos
) that's planned to cover the entire story, which for obvious reasons will take a while to complete. It currently covers the first 181 chapters of the first fic. There's also an annotation
of the
audiobook
by troper Luigicat11, which may also take a while for the usual reasons.

- Adaptation Drift: It started as a standard self-insert "The Loud House" fanfiction before turning into a massive crossover with a huge cast ensemble and strict formula: Team Loud Phoenix Storm saves several girls who join Lincoln's harem after Nico informs them of who they have to defeat that chapter.
- Adaptational Badass: Exaggerated with pretty much everyone on Team Loud Phoenix Storm (especially the main members), as most of the time they have extremely powerful abilities that decimate everyone in their way, along with being able to transform into god-like forms.
- Adaptational Context Change: New York City replaces Townsville as the city where the events of canon episodes of The Powerpuff Girls (1998) mentioned in the fic took place, starting with the exposition that came with Princess Morbucks and the Powerpuff Girls' debuts in "Chapter 116: A Spoiled Brat's Vendetta".
- Adaptational Explanation:
- In The Loud House episode "Not a Loud", the US president and first lady responsible for delivering Lincoln are left unnamed and with vague identities (though it's implied that they're a fictional president and first lady). The episode's Revamped version, "Chapter 10: Not a Loud", has the president and first lady be explicitly stated to be George W. Bush and Laura Bush.
- In Ed, Edd n Eddy, the show's central city of Peach Creek has its location vaguely defined outside of being somewhere in the continental United States. Revamped's "Chapter 23: The Louds and the Eds" specifies that Peach Creek is located in Georgia and somewhere close to Atlanta.
- In "Chapter 54: Simulator, Finale: The Dark VS Evil Spirits", Lucy (whose eyes were never seen in The Loud House's animated canon until A Loud House Christmas Movie: Naughty or Nice) is revealed to have red eyes with cat-like pupils.
- The Loud Rabbits from the The Loud House episode "White Hare" are only ever stated to be Funny Animal rabbits, with no more specific terminology indicating a particular subtype or species for them. In the episode's Revamped version, "Chapter 192: White Hare", they're explicitly stated by Lisa to be California White Rabbits
.
- Adaptational Heroism:
- In Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show, Eddy’s Brother is little more than a heartless jerk who bullies Eddy for no reason other than sick amusement. Eddy's explanation as for why the Eds moved to Royal Woods in "Chapter 23: The Louds and the Eds" has Eddy's Brother's characterization changed up so that he's a far better person in Revamped than in Ed, Edd n Eddy canon, with the Kanker Sisters (who in Big Picture Show were genuinely repulsed by Eddy's Brother and gave him karmic torture) being hit with Adaptational Villainy in turn; Eddy states that Eddy's Brother saved the Eds from the Kankers when the latter abducted them and held them hostage at Eddy's Brother's mobile home, and says that he actually does care for him as his younger brother.
- Luan's manic pranking rampages from The Loud House's April Fools Episodes as rewritten in the fic are revealed in "Chapter 40: The Light Shines Forth" to not be caused entirely by her own volition, but rather by her Split Personality Dark Luan; although she initially started pranking herself after being bullied in 6th grade, Dark Luan was eventually created and took over control of her mind for the latest April Fools' Days. In the chapter, Luan manages to stand up to Dark Luan, fights her and kills her off, solving her split personality issue.
- Adaptational Karma: In Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Mayor Shelbourne was arrested by Earl Devereaux for almost getting the entirety of Earth covered in food after manipulating Flint Lockwood into constantly making more and more food with the FLDSMDFR without considering the possibility of the machine going haywire, but he eventually managed to escape prison. Shelbourne doesn't get off as easily in Revamped's "Chapter 129: Forecast: Raining Food", where, after instigating the same conflict, he's sentenced to imprisonment at Lake Vostok Triple Supermax Prison "for eternity".
- Adaptational Villainy: Applies to pretty much every antagonist from canon media who doesn't make a Heel–Face Turn, though some antagonists who do redeem themselves get hit with the trope as well. To name specific instances:
- Wally Walrus and Miss Meany's iterations from The New Woody Woodpecker Show (which their Revamped versions appear to be mainly modeled after) are the two recurring rivals of Woody Woodpecker whom he has the most bad blood with. However, Wally's antagonism of Woody is owed to the latter causing him mayhem with his antics or stealing his food; and Miss Meany, while a more clear Jerkass than Wally who hates most animals, doesn't usually antagonize Woody outside of her job as his Cranky Landlady. In their debut in Revamped's "Chapter 20: The Woodpecker Friend", Wally and Meany outright evict Woody out of his canon home, and rage in reaction to J.D. showing them via video call that Woody now lives with the Louds, with Meany threatening that they'll hunt down and kill Woody in the future.
- Zig-zagged with Carol Pingrey from The Loud House. In the canon The Loud House series, she started off as a one-sided Sitcom Arch-Nemesis whom Lori was jealous of because she always bested her at everything, and while Carol herself is somewhat of a Competition Freak, she didn't appear to be aware of and/or mind Lori for the most part; in fact, Carol's full regular interactions with Lori only started once the two became friends in "Selfie Improvement". By contrast, in Carol's Revamped debut in "Chapter 21: The Windy Catfight", it's established that Carol and Lori used to be friends until Carol became a Jerkass and thus started a mutual, burning hatred with Lori, which eventually culminated in Carol getting into a fight with Lori and hurting her badly at the beginning of the chapter, followed by Carol outright attempting to murder Lori when the latter comes back to gang up on her with J.D., Varie, Lincoln, Laney and Lily. It continues in "Chapter 58: The Problem with Trolls", wherein Carol sends insulting messages to Lori on social media out of spite for having lost to her earlier. Then in "Chapter 77: Carol's Redemption", it's revealed that Carol's malicious attitude was owed to a Split Personality, named Morgan Pingrey, taking control of her; when Morgan is split off from Carol and killed off, Carol becomes more like her canon version and mends her broken friendship with Lori.
- The Kanker Sisters from Ed, Edd n Eddy are Abhorrent Admirers and Jerkasses who love getting too touchy-feely with the Eds and any other guys they find attractive, but it's never explicitly mentioned nor implied that they engage in outright sexual harassment, and even they have their own limits and standards. When the Eds are introduced to Revamped in "Chapter 23: The Louds and the Eds", it's mentioned by Eddy, Edd and J.D. that the Kankers were sentenced to 4 years in the Atlanta Juvenile Correctional Facility for committing "1st-degree attempted rape" on the Eds, which is why the Eds decided to move to Royal Woods. Additionally, the events from Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show are twisted at the expense of the Kankers; whereas in the movie they were utterly repulsed by the abusive behavior of Eddy's Brother and spend their time giving him karmic torture after his defeat, in "The Louds and the Eds", Edd explains that the Kankers kidnapped the Eds, brought them to Eddy's Brother's mobile home and tortured them there until Eddy's Brother came to save the Eds. Later when the Kankers escape prison and make their onscreen debut in "Chapter 61: The Eds Strike Back", it's revealed that they had destroyed the entirety of Peach Creek and reduced it into piles of rubble before storming into Detroit to try and get the Eds back for themselves, all because they wanted to retrieve their Ship-in-a-Bottle.
- Chandler McCann from The Loud House was originally introduced as a mere jerkish mooch in the canon series, and would only become a full-on recurring antagonist to Lincoln in Season 5, long after his debut in Revamped. In said debut, Revamped's "Chapter 30: Laney's Revenge", he's far more violent and evil than he's ever been portrayed in the canon show, being Laney's bully who, as well as having beaten Laney up multiple times, wants to poison his classmates, both physically and with radiation, and intends to burn down the Royal Woods Elementary School in a way that would make J.D. and Lincoln take the blame, all because he needed some excitement. Later in "Chapter 67: The Nature Sisters Cometh", Chandler makes a Deal with the Devil via access through the Netherworld symbols at the mental asylum cell he was imprisoned at in order to escape the asylum and try to kill the Louds and J.D., all while discarding his real name in favor of dubbing himself "Carnivora"; by then, he had apparently become so dreaded that all the residents of Royal Woods lock up their houses as soon as they're alerted of Chandler roaming free in the city.
- The Loud Brothers from the The Loud House episode "One of the Boys" are big Jerkasses and bullies who enjoy abusing Lincoln and their counterpart of Lynn Sr., but that's as far as they go, since they're very protective of Linka by contrast, and their fairly one-note personalities are owed to the fact that they were Dream People whom Lincoln had dreamed about. When they're introduced alongside Linka in Revamped's "Chapter 35: Enter Linka Loud", Linka states that the reason she left her dimension and went to the normal one was because all of the Loud Brothers sans Larry (Laney's genderbent counterpart) and Leon decided to flat-out disown her and kick her out of the genderbent Loud family. The chapter then ends with the main characters learning that all of the guilty Loud Brothers were eventually detained for their abusive and violent behavior (Loki, Loni, Luke, Lane and Boy Lynn were formally arrested by the police, while Lars, Leif, Lexx and Levi were taken away by Child Protection Services). Some time after the guilty brothers' sentences, in "Chapter 136: It's Payback Time", Loni, Luke, Lars and Leif make a Heel–Face Turn and become allies of Team Loud Phoenix Storm alongside Larry and Leon, but Loki, Lane, Boy Lynn, Lexx and Levi refuse to change and are crippled by Team Loud Phoenix Storm (to the point that they end up becoming Bandage Mummies) as punishment.
- Exaggerated with the Uchiha Clan from Naruto (especially when it comes to Sasuke Uchiha), the most recurring antagonists in the first fic, who debuted in "Chapter 42: Simulator, Part 1: Knudson VS Uchiha". They weren't always the best people in Naruto canon, but in Revamped, most of the Clan's selves throughout the entire multiverse are Always Chaotic Evil and only value their own, with a single-digit number of exceptions across the multiverse (the most relevant one being the Sasuke who's part of Team Loud Phoenix Storm).
- Ms. Trunchbull, the Big Bad of Matilda, is already a very awful person and a horribly abusive school principal, but Revamped's portrayal of her in "Chapter 78: Lightning Strikes Brutally" goes the extra mile to give her more crimes beyond what she did in both the Matilda book and film, mainly by having her also be an explicit Serial Killer of children who has at least 25 murder victims.
- In "Chapter 116: A Spoiled Brat's Vendetta", Princess Morbucks is portrayed as being far more petty, sociopathic and erratic than her canon iteration from The Powerpuff Girls (1998) (which her version in Revamped is mainly modeled after), with her worst misdeeds in said show being very prominently emphasized on during the establishment of her character. Compared to canon, she's willing to commit crimes for her own sake beyond her usual motivation of wanting to earn fame and a higher social status, and her love for her father is changed to her hating him, to the point that he was obliged to disown her. She's also far more sadistic and bloodthirsty in her desire for Revenge on those who wronged her, as shown by her sheer hatred of Lola, Lana, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup.
- The Farmer from the in-universe movie The Harvester seen in the The Loud House episode "The Price of Admission" isn't really elaborated upon beyond being a Slasher Movie villain who brutally mutilates his victims, but he's at the end of the day a completely fictional character whom Lincoln got scared by after trying to watch The Harvester by himself in an attempt to prove that he's not a baby. In Revamped, the Farmer is changed into a metaphysical character of sorts who clinges onto people's subconsciousness, and when he's confronted by Team Loud Phoenix Storm in "Chapter 121: Facing Demons", it's revealed that he's been subjecting Lincoln to the same nightmare about him every night for the last few days before the chapter in an attempt to mentally scar him and give him somniphobia.
- The Super Mart Manager
note from the The Loud House episode "Cereal Offender" is a stern supermarket manager who's very strict about store order and the behavior of both Super Mart's customers and employees, and is also quite the Jerkass to the customers and employees whom he deems to be "troublemakers", but he still does his best to ensure that the Super Mart is safe from disasters, and has a point in kicking the Loud kids out of the supermarket for the chaotic mess they've caused there. In the episode's Revamped version, "Chapter 130: Cereal Offender", the manager (known here as Cain Torres) is established to be an infamous Serial Killer in disguise who's wanted by the FBI and has been dubbed "The Hooligan Killer", and as soon as he becomes wary of Luan's antics in the supermarket, he seeks to gun the Loud kids to death for their misbehavior (to say nothing of him having become a serial killer in the first place out of petty jealousy for the success of his fic-original brother Abel). - The Gangreen Gang from The Powerpuff Girls are a group of hoodlums who commit crimes and do petty mischief just for their own fun, only approaching the opportunity to take over Townsville in the 1998 PPG series' episode "Power Lunch" because it'd give them freedom to wreck as much havoc as they want across the city. In their debut chapter in Revamped, "Chapter 323: Gangreen Terror", they're described as completely heartless Omnicidal Maniacs who only want to destroy the entire world.
- Adaptation Name Change: A justified example,
because the character's canonical last name was only given in canon well after the chapter wherein they debuted in the fic (meaning that it was initially a case of Named by the Adaptation). In the fic, Chandler from The Loud House, who initially lacked a last name in canon, was given the surname of Henderson when he first appeared in Revamped with "Chapter 30: Laney's Revenge". Season 5 of the canon series later gave Chandler's actual surname as McCann. - Adapted Out: While a fair bit less common than being Demoted to Extra, there are times that characters, including main characters, outright don't appear in the chapters covering their native media.
- "Chapter 47: Simulator Part 6: Nature vs Pollution" doesn't include Batty, despite Jamesdean5842 enjoying Robin Williams' performance as him.
- "Chapter 94: Mystery at Yokai Academy" has the role of Tsukune Aono fully supplanted by Naruto.
- Similar to the above example, in "Chapter 125: World War Blue", Tetsu Hayami's role is fully supplanted by Naruto.
- Age Lift:
- According to the final message at the end of chapter 3 (Origins Part 2), the character J.D. in the fan fiction is 15 years old. However, in reality, the author was 30 years old when that chapter was published.
- Lincoln, as of chapter 1857, is seventeen years old, which may seem like an example since, in the series, he is eleven to twelve years old. However, Lincoln was 11 at the start, as established in chapter 2, meaning that this was merely a product of the passage of time.
- The Alcatraz: Lake Vostok Triple Supermax Prison is a fic-original max-security prison located in Lake Vostok, Antarctica that's described to be inescapable and brutal for its prisoners. First introduced in "Chapter 61: The Eds Strike Back" as the prison that the Kanker Sisters are sent to after their defeat in the chapter, the prison serves as Team Loud Phoenix Storm's prison of choice for any antagonists who are punished by condemning them to Longer Than Life Sentences.
- Ambiguous Situation: In some of the Evil Sasuke encounters, the protagonists sometimes refer to him as "an Evil Sasuke" or "another Evil Sasuke". Whether or not there's (somehow) multiple Evil Sasukes or if the heroes assume there's multiple of him even though he's actually just coming Back from the Dead multiple times is unspecified. Though there are times where they do acknowledge Evil Sasuke as a singular person.
- An Arm and a Leg: "Chapter 40: The Light Shines Forth", the last thing Luan does during her beatdown of Dark Luan as the latter is falling to the ground (courtesy of a light pterodactyl created by Luan dropping her from a great height in the sky) is burn Dark Luan's left leg off with a light beam from her newly-earned light superpowers.
- Artifact Title: In the "Volcanic Trip" arc, the characters visit numerous countries that lack volcanic activity.
- To some extent, this very fanfiction's title encapsulates its essence, as it transcended mere reimaginings of Loud House episodes. Notably, the Loud House cast (primarily Lincoln and Clyde) emerge as significant allies to J.D.
- Artistic Licence – Anatomy: Sadly, the impact of having so many pairs of wings and wolf tails on one's back, along with impossible body heights, remains undiscussed.
- Artistic License – Biology: In "Chapter 16: Power of the Wind", the Loud siblings are revealed to be 45% Iroquois, 22% British, 15% Norwegian, 10% German, 7% Irish, 6% Icelandic, and 5% Scottish. Not only are none of those percentages able to be made up of powers of ½ (as how Lori meeting the requirement of having at least part-Iroquois ancestry to earn powers from the Wind of Ga-oh is indicated to work), but they add up to 110%.
- Artistic License – Engineering: Over the course of the story and its sequel, the characters grow as they gain more power. Nowhere is it mentioned how the World Tree Estate is modified to accommodate them.
- Artistic License – Geography: In the chapter where they visit French Guiana, J.D. mentions that he doesn't want to visit Jonestown there. That settlement was actually located in Guyana.
- Artistic License – Law: Legal punishments in general tend to be far harsher here than they would be in real life.
- In Chapter 30, Chandler gets sentenced to a lifetime in a mental facility in which he's locked in a cell with a door covered in "evil symbols" that guarantee him eternal torture and suffering in Hell. This punishment was placed in the United States and would be prohibited by the Eighth Amendment.
- In Chapter 356, Peter, Lois, and Chris Griffin are sentenced to public humiliation for life. Public humiliation sentences are also prohibited by the Eighth Amendment.
- Artistic License – Pharmacology:
- In "Chapter 33: One Flu Over the Loud House", J.D.'s gun of choice to defend the non-infected people at the Loud House against the flu-infected Louds is a pistol loaded with tranquilizer darts filled with small doses of codeine (which he acknowledges is a narcotic) that will "make [the infected] tired", which instantly knock Lynn and Lola out when J.D. shoots his pistol at them. By default, codeine can't be considered a tranquilizer at all, due to narcotics' classification as being entirely distinct from substances traditionally labeled as tranquilizers. And while codeine can render people unconscious, it's not capable of inducing sleep like a tranquilizer would do; rather, it numbs people and deprives them of sleep while giving them the sensation of sleepiness, an effect that would need more than a "small dose" in order to cause loss of consciousness. Additionally, opioids (the type of narcotic codeine is) as a whole are a far worse choice of substance to render flu-ill people asleep than tranquilizers, as they inflict symptoms that favor the flu's severity, such as constipation and nausea.
- In "Chapter 88: Mall of Duty", Laney had a multitude of epipens, but couldn't offer one to the Tough Guy because she didn't have any for banana. In reality, there aren't different epipens for specific allergies, as they all work on the same kind of allergic reaction the same way.
- Ass Shove: In "Chapter 30: Laney's Revenge", one of the things Laney does while beating up Chandler is kicking him "where the sun don't shine", implying that she somehow shoved a foot up Chandler's ass.
- As the Good Book Says...: The heroes use attacks based on various Bible stories to defeat Judge Frollo.
- Attack on the Heart: In "Chapter 77: Carol's Redemption", Lori kills Morgan Pingrey by stabbing her in the heart with her sword.
- Author Tract:
- Perhaps many of the author's reactions are usually this, such as dishing out on communism or targeting topics he didn't seem to be fond of.
- Bullies get the absolute worst of it in the chapters. Although some canon bullies, for example Chloé Bourgeois to give a name, are given a chance to turn over a new leaf and become an ally of the Team.
- Bait-and-Switch: Chapter 172 of the sequel looks like it is finally something different from the previous 32 chapters, only to be the same exact thing yet again right after.
- Battle Trophy: A recurring occurrence in the aftermaths of fights, starting in "Chapter 37: Fury of the Earth", is members of Team Loud Phoenix Storm taking objects from the villains they've defeated as mementos for their victories over them.
- Become a Real Boy: In "Chapter 1663: GRIM TURNS HUMAN!", Grim, originally a Dem Bones-The Grim Reaper hybrid being, transforms into a normal-looking human while still retaining all of his supernatural powers. He goes on to state that he feels more comfortable in his new human form.
- Berserk Button: Exaggerated with Lola, who gives a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown to any antagonist who calls her ugly, to the point that "Chapter 120: Along Came a Sister" dubs any antagonist who gets beaten up by Lola like this as getting "Lola Shock Syndrome". Some of her victims include Mother Gothel in "Chapter 82: Plan for Babysitting" and the Exterminator in "Chapter 120: Along Came a Sister".Lola: [to Mother Gothel] NO ONE!!! CALLS!!! ME!!! UUUGGGLLLYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Big Applesauce: New York City is the setting for various past events mentioned in the fics, such as the canonical events of The Powerpuff Girls (1998) (wherein it replaces that show's central setting of Townsville)note .
- Big Bad: Xehanort is this for the original fic, while the Anti-Monitor is this for the sequel. This is ultimately very, very downplayed, however, due to the fact that they barely appear at all to fight the heroes, and the already giant count of antagonists overshadow them by a lot.
- Bond One-Liner: J.D. is known to do this fairly often.J.D. (after killing an evil Sasuke): Enjoy hell Sasu-gay.
- Bring My Brown Pants: It's common for antagonists to soil or wet themselves whenever the heroes intimidate them, often to increasingly exaggerated levels as the fic progresses.
- The first example to show up in the fic is in "Chapter 4: Heavy Meddle", when the boy whom the Loud sisters suspected to be Lincoln's bully tries to threaten Lincoln for getting himself almost beaten up by the sisters. In response, J.D. scares the boy with a tiger roar, making him "pee his pants" before Lynn kicks him out of the house.
- In "Chapter 15: Tricked", during Hank and Hawk's Humiliation Conga by J.D. and the Louds, J.D. transforms into his Halloween "costume" for the occasion, a form described as an amalgam of the Thing's iterations from The Thing (1982), The Thing (2011), and The Thing (2002), to scare them. Hank and Hawk get so terrified of J.D.'s form that "it [makes] them soil their pants 3 times".
- Chip Whistler craps his pants eight times after Fluttershy gives him "The Reason You Suck" Speech.
- This would later happen to Gladys Sharp in chapter 1574, where she craps her pants 15 times after Fluttershy does the same thing.
- Exaggerated in chapter 1590, where Alejandro craps his pants 100,000 times from a reprimanding. Chapter 1591 takes this even further when Dustin Keystone craps himself five million times.
- Weaponized when Boingo explodes after a reprimanding.
- Morag pees herself when J.D. does the exact same thing in chapter 1537.
- Butt-Monkey: Some recurring antagonists tend to have it way worse than others. Peter and Lois Griffin are one of the more prominent examples in this fic.
- Cain and Abel: A literally-named example. Cain and Abel Torres in "Chapter 130: Cereal Offender" are two brothers who are enemies due to Abel being a famous author and Cain becoming a Serial Killer out of petty jealousy for Abel and the rest of their family, wanting to get Abel's fame and ensuring that their entire family would suffer until he becomes famous himself. When Cain tries to kill the Loud kids in the chapter, Abel comes in to help Team Loud Phoenix Storm defeat Cain and bring him to justice. J.D. even lampshades the brothers' names and relationship as being "like Cain & Abel from the Bible", further remarking the Bible parallels when he curses Cain with the Mark of Cain.
- Calling Your Attacks: Characters tend to announce their attacks beforehand. In some cases, it can take several pages.
- CAPS LOCK: Plenty of chapters have their titles (or at least one subtitle) written in all caps. The first of these is "Chapter 62: IT'S RIPPING TIME!", and they become increasingly common as the duology progresses.
- Catchphrase: Evil Sasuke tends to call the heroes a "cur" to insult them, he says it so frequently it almost borders on a Verbal Tic of sorts.
- Circles of Hell: In one of the chapters in the "Simulator" arc and the second Glitch Techs chapter, J.D., Team Loud Phoenix Storm, Ridley the Glitch Modder and Glitch Techs traverse the Circles of Hell from the Dante's Inferno video game.
- Comic-Book Time: Averted, at least without the context of the Inverted Webcomic Time below. The characters seem to age in roughly "real time", that is to say that when a year has passed in Real Life, the characters have aged one year.
- Cluster F-Bomb: The characters tend to swear a lot, especially in the later chapters.J.D. (after killing Lex Luthor): Burn in Hell you psychopathic motherfucking son of a fucking bitch.
- Colon Cancer: Some chapter titles have multiple colons, especially those labeled under "sagas" or "arcs" that have their own titles and/or subtitles. The first of these chapter titles is "Chapter 205: Shinobi of The Cosmic Storm, Part 11: THE GREAT OROCHIMARU PURGE, PART 2: MIZUKI STRIKES BACK".
- Combination Attack: A common way for the team to defeat their foes....they fired extremely powerful blasts of rainbow energy, black and purple energy, fireworks, rainbows, storm clouds, gold halo rings, quintessence, life energy, illusions, crosses, planets, sea creatures, nightmare creatures, sports equipment, leaves, plants, swords, fruits, animals, music notes, psychic blasts, jewels, starships, imps, butterflies, moths, spades, hearts, aces, diamonds, clubs, Fire, Ice, Water, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Lava, Light, Darkness, Crystals, Wood, Stars, Time, Nature, Gravity, Blood, Magic, Rainbow Crystals, Rainbow Super Lightning, Rainbow Fire, Sand, Blue Fire, Bubbles, Steam, Nebulonic Gas, Suns, Aurora, Light Magic, Dark Magic, Black Magic, Satanic Magic, Moonlight, Explosions, Twin-Tailed Comets, Fairies, Vampires, Tigers, Buffalo, Thunderbirds, Phoenixes, Elemental Dragons, Werewolves, Demons, Banshees, Spirits, Fiends, Zombies, Elemental Angels, Alicorns, Angels, Archangels, Outer Gods, Mythological Animals, Mammoths, Pegasi, Tortoises, Succubi, Incubi, Hydras, Qilins, Centaurs, Sauropods, Theropods, and Mermaids at Sophia Fayez and they exploded with incredible power as they hit her.
- Cool Car: "Chapter 70: Muscle Beach Louds" introduces Vanzilla 2.0, Team Loud Phoenix Storm's Signature Team Transport, which is the exact opposite of the canon Vanzilla from The Loud House. It can fly and float!
- Crack Fic: What started as a simple Fix Fic of certain episodes of The Loud House with the author's self-insert soon became a Massive Multiplayer Crossover with the Loud siblings basically becoming gods, Lincoln having a massive harem of women, the villains getting executed in stupidly brutal ways, and much, much more.
- Crimefighting with Cash: "Chapter 1: Loud House Revamped Prologue" denotes that one of the major qualities of Team Loud Phoenix Storm is "their super vast wealth and fortune", which they mainly use to purchase any equipment and humanitarian resources they need for their heroic escapades. It starts off with the wealth amassed by the Knudson family after winning a jackpot from the Colorado Lottery and acquiring the Morbucks family's assets, and the team's members only earn more and more cash as the story goes on.
- Crossover Couple:
- Exaggerated to epic lengths with Lincoln, who gets a Crossover Harem surrounding him. Along with his canon love interest Ronnie Anne, his romantic partners include (but are not limited to) Tangle the Lemur, Jewel the Beetle, Whisper the Wolf, the Kisaragi Nine baseball team, Ryuko Matoi, Reimu Hakurei, Jolyne Kujo, Panty and Stocking Anarchy, and most of the female ensemble of Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures. The ideas for girlfriends primarily come from audience suggestion on the author's DeviantArt page, and the list is still being updated
to the point the number can rival the fic's word count. Naruto, J.D. and Clyde get their own crossover harems too. - Leni becomes an Official Couple with Ed from Ed, Edd n Eddy.
- In "Chapter 24: Space Invader", after breaking up with Benny Stein offscreen, Luan becomes an Official Couple with Eddy from Ed, Edd n Eddy.
- In "Chapter 61: The Eds Strike Back", Linka becomes an Official Couple with Edd from Ed, Edd n Eddy.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Given that the heroes usually outnumber the villains ten-to-one in the battles, this is bound to happen.
- Most common are the 'usual battles' that are over after a single combined attack. Later, Lincoln's rescues are over with one or two combined attacks.
- For main battles, the villains commonly get defeated without getting a chance to attack. Even if the villain attacks, it is very common for all the attacks to get dodged, blocked or absorbed.
- Damsel in Distress: In later chapters, there are almost always a small group of girls who need rescuing, usually from the same franchise.
- Deal with the Devil: "Chapter 67: The Nature Sisters Cometh", Chandler accesses a vaguely described "Netherworld" through the "evil symbols" at the mental asylum cell he was imprisoned at back in "Chapter 30: Laney's Revenge" to make a deal with its "Devil" that would grant him the necessary powers and immortality to break out of the asylum and attempt to kill the Louds and J.D. after they had thwarted his past attempt to burn down the Royal Woods Elementary School and kill plenty of its students and staff. The deal itself physically manifests as a medallion necklace worn by Chandler, who ends up being Reduced to Dust on Earth and having his soul Dragged Off to Hell after Laney destroys it (since the necklace's destruction meant Chandler broke the end of his deal).
- Defeat Equals Explosion:
- In "Chapter 40: The Light Shines Forth", Dark Luan explodes into red glitter particles when she hits the ground after being dropped from a "huge height" by a "light pterodactyl" created by Luan, all while Luan beat her up during most of the fall, no less.
- In "Chapter 116: A Spoiled Brat's Vendetta", Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Lana and Lola kill Princess Morbucks by simultaneously shooting continuous beams (light beams for Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, fire beams for Lola, and ice beams for Lana) at her, causing Princess to explode into burning embers from the sheer amounts of power shot at her.
- Demoted to Extra: Many characters are given this treatment. One example being that in the Raya and the Last Dragon chapter, Sisu is only given one line, despite being the titular dragon of that film! Justified however, considering the massive amount of characters in this fic, it would be a bit difficult to constantly utilize one and the many others (aside from the main and secondary characters).
- Department of Redundancy Department: This happens pretty frequently, with characters describing something as "awesome" or "cool" multiple times. It is especially common during the transformation sequences and the type of voice the characters are currently talking in.Jake turned into an awesome Red Dragon. He was awesome.
- Description Porn: Mixed with Costume Porn.
- From the chapters 1533 there are two paragraphs in a row that describe how Lincoln looks like, what he is wearing and what he is wielding. It first takes about a third of the page, gradually increasing in length until in chapter 2058 onward, those two paragraphs take up more than a page.
- Transformation sequence descriptions of most of the characters are very verbose, mostly describing how the character's looks and equipment has changed and what has remained the same. Lincoln's latest transformation takes over three pages.
- Dirty Communists: The author hates communism, and it shows. Every communist character is a villain in this fic.
- Disabled in the Adaptation: Bridget of the Loud Rabbits from the The Loud House episode "White Hare" is a Voiceless character who only speaks via phone text messages, though she's never implied to have any sort of vocal speech impairment. The episode's Revamped version, "Chapter 192: White Hare", establishes that she's mute, meaning that written text really is the only means to speak she physically has.
- A Dog Named "Dog": The Inkling character is just called "Inkling". Justified as it's based on their depiction in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate where they are called "Inkling".
- Doorstopper: By 2020, the fic reached over 16 million words, making it more than 17 times as long as War and Peace. This makes it the longest piece of literature in history. It's also notable in this respect because the fanfic is so long that it broke Fanfiction.net's word count: since the site uses 24-bit integers, it can't display a word count higher than 16,777,215. The actual word count, as of December of 2023, is over 31,500,000. It should be noted that the validity of its claim of being the longest single work of fiction ever is called into question, as some chapters are just copy and pastes of a wikipedia pages and there being multiple people in the reviews actively writing chunks of the fic themselves.
- As of May 31, 2025, the sequel itself reached that magic number of 16,777,215 by chapter 197.
- Doppelmerger:
- At the end of "Chapter 83: Varie the Swordmistress", Varie merges Naruto, Sakura and Fu with their counterparts whom she met in the alternate universe she had ventured throughout the chapter.
- At the end of "Chapter 84: Laney Ascends to New Heights", J.D. merges all of Team Loud Phoenix Storm's members and allies from Naruto with their counterparts from the alternate universe Laney had visited in the chapter.
- Early-Installment Weirdness:
- The first fic's first 40 chapters are from well before the duology had fully fledged itself into an "epic" Massive Multiplayer Crossover, and their contrast with the rest of the duology is as clear as water. Even disregarding the premise that the majority of episodes are simply remakes of canon The Loud House episodes with J.D. and other Original Characters intervening in the plot, their writing is far simpler than the rest of the fic (with the canon episode remakes in particular being written almost entirely via copy-pasted fan wiki transcripts that were then modified for the plot changes), and the non-Loud House characters were largely limited to a specific selection of media, such as Ed, Edd n Eddy and Teen Titans. Although remakes of Loud House episodes (plus episodes from other series) with copy-pasted transcripts are still recurring in the rest of the fic, they rely significantly less on copy-pasting entire scripts and involve far more drastic changes compared to these chapters.
- The first fic's first 24 chapters already have instances of antagonistic characters being Curb-Stomped, humiliated, punished and/or arrested, all recurring ways later antagonists are dealt with, but said antagonists' punishments, while still rather exaggerated for The Loud House's standards, are fairly more grounded and plausible when compared to the overkill defeats/punishments and Longer-Than-Life Sentences used for later antagonists.note
- The first fic's early chapters feature much less swearing than the rest of the duology, being mostly limited to Precision F Strikes, in sharp contrast to the very recurring Sir-Swears-a-Lots and Cluster F Bombs from later in the fic.
- The first multi-chapter "saga"/"arc" in the duology, The Simulator Saga, is an anthological saga involving the introduction of new content from different works and a variety of self-contained casts and plots within each chapter, with the titular Simulator being the only element that connects the chapters story-wise. Later "sagas" and "arcs"note , by contrast, consist of series of strongly interconnected chapters that form a bigger storyline revolving around a particular theme, work or set of works involved, and/or focused characters.
- Earth All Along: Some Simulator chapters reveal that the "alternate" dimension the characters were sent to, despite recognizably being the world of a movie, was actually another place on the main Earth the fic takes place on at the end.
- Elemental Powers: Eventually, the Loud siblings, J.D. and many other characters wield the powers of Fire, Ice, Water, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Lava, Light, Darkness, Crystals, Wood, Stars, Time, Nature, Gravity, Blood, Magic, Moonlight and more.
- Empowered Badass Normal: Many otherwise ordinary characters gain superpowers. This is obviously most notable with the Loud siblings, who go from neighborly kids always cooking up wacky hijinks to an ultra-powered Sibling Team of multiverse saviors.
- Enemy Without:
- Dark Luan from "Chapter 40: The Light Shine Forth", the Split Personality and embodiment of Luan's sadistic side that came out every April Fool's Day before the chapter.
- Chapter 77 reveals that Carol's Adaptational Villainy in early chapters was actually a case of Gollum Made Me Do It, to which the Louds' response was to invoke and exploit this trope by using one of Lisa's inventions to turn the offending persona, Morgan, into her own person so they could kill her without hurting Carol.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Lampshaded, but Lucky states that Jark Matter, suprisingly enough, doesn't condone cannibalism.
- Eyelid Pull Taunt: J.D., Varie, and the Loud siblings do this to Wally Walrus and Miss Meany in Chapter 20, when Woody Woodpecker reveals he's staying with them.
- Failure Is the Only Option: Exaggerated. Pretty much every antagonist which hasn't been redeemed in one way or another is always destined to lose against Team Loud Phoenix Storm no matter what. It's to the point that they have to be lucky to even land a single hit on one of them, and even that isn't enough to stop them!
- Fake-Out Opening: Chapter 172 of the sequel starts different from the previous 32 chapters but it is a lie.
- Fantastic Light Source: J.D. uses his lightsaber as a light source several times.
- First-Person Perspective: Zig-zagged. By default, the duology's narration is usually from the first-person perspective of J.D., complete with his dialogue scriptlines labeling him as "Me" rather than "J.D." However, it's not uncommon for the narration of chapters and scenes that don't feature or focus mainly on J.D. to lean much more to a third-person perspective instead.
- Fix Fic: Has elements of this. An example is in the crossover chapter with The Land Before Time where Littlefoot's mother is saved rather than killed as in the original.
- Flanderization: This happens to a lot of characters featured in this fanfic. A good example is that Shaggy usually only says "ZOINKS! It's [insert name of monster that had just appeared]!". Guest characters often become devices used for exposition as well, to the point they can be stated by any other character and nothing would change.
- Freudian Excuse: "Chapter 40: The Light Shines Forth" reveals that Luan started her sadistic and over-the-top April Fool's prank rampages due to being bullied in the sixth grade (which in turn created the Split Personality that made her do the prank rampages, Dark Luan).
- Genuine Human Hide: J.D. turns three lizardmen Naruto killed into a wallet and purse in Chapter 94: Mystery at Yokai Academy.
- Golden Super Mode:
- J.D.'s first Super Mode, his Super Angel form, which was first used in "Chapter 45: Into Dante's Inferno" and first referred to by name in "Chapter 57: Louds and Ninjas", is a take on the trope that wears the inspiration it takes from Super Saiyan on its sleeve, especially when it comes to the golden-colored hair that J.D. gets in the form. J.D. later gets many more escalating tiers of the form: Super Angel 2, 3, and even further beyond.
- Averted with other characters' Super Angel forms, which change their hair to a variety of other colors (usually one frequently worn by/associated with each character) instead.
- Gratuitous Japanese: Later chapters have multiple paragraphs written in Japanese (usually power-up songs or transformation sequences).
- Great Big Book of Everything: J.D.'s book, Legends of the World, introduced at the end of Chapter 7. He uses it to learn about the source of every "elemental choosing" that happens, giving a Loud sibling the above-mentioned elemental powers.
- Greek Chorus: Zig-Zagged, especially in the episode revamps. Sometimes the added characters' contributions only amount to this, other times they change the whole plot, and others still they mix and match, only really contributing to and changing the plot at the end.
- Some chapters that primarily take place in the Simulator, such as Chapter 50, play this straight for the characters outside of the Simulator.
- Growing Wings: Whenever characters transform into their Super Mode, they grow a new set or sets of wings. By chapter 144 of the sequel, Lincoln has over 100 sets of wings, the largest ones larger than the entire universe. A few chapters later, he has 999 duodecillion.
- Half-Identical Twins: Lincoln and Linka are treated as this after the latter is adopted into the (main-universe) Loud family. Justified in that she's from Another Dimension with only two noted differences: Everyone's genders are swapped, and J.D. doesn't exist.
- Half the Man He Used to Be: In "Chapter 121: Facing Demons", after Team Loud Phoenix Storm, Carrie and Morgan subject the Farmer from The Harvester to a progressive Mutilation Conga that had already gouged his eyes out and chopped his arms off, Lincoln finishes the Farmer off by throwing a disk of energy (which he refers to as a "destructo-disk", after the Destructo-Disc from Dragon Ball) at him that horizontally slices his body in half.
- Hated by All: Vicky is a terrible babysitter, and at worst a diabolical sadist. That being said, none of the characters like her and she's deemed evil enough to be thrown into a cosmic Hellhole Prison. The cast occasionally visits her to torment her, no matter how inappropriate it is for the used characters. She gets verbally torn apart in various "Reason You Suck" speeches, on the end of gratuitous violence (yet never dies), and even her own family
officially disowns her. Vicky hisses and roars like an untamed creature in response, and never shows a shift in attitude from enduring the hate. - Heel–Face Turn: The Redemption Squad basically consists of antagonists who redeemed themselves after their respective initial confrontations. First they fight the team, then they join it.
- High-Voltage Death: Glenn Quagmire is executed this way in chapter 1522.
- I Have No Son!:
- At the end of "Chapter 74: Dance, Dance Resolution", Liam Hunnicutt, Zach Gurdle, Tabby and Haiku are disowned by their parents simply for gaining superpowers, obliging J.D. and the Louds to give them new homes at their estate's residences.
- "Chapter 77: Carol's Redemption" begins with Carol Pingrey getting disowned by her parents and kicked out of their family home after having an argument with her father, forcing her to move to the Loud-Knudson estate after living in the streets for three days.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Similarly to her canon death in The Little Mermaid (1989), this is Ursula's fate in "Chapter 82: Plan for Babysitting". She's impaled by Lily with a water-conjured spear, then obliterated by King Triton firing a blast of energy from his trident at her.
- Inexplicably Identical Individuals:
- Shannon "Gaz" Deluthe, Yuki, Boomer, Brick and Butch of the Black Daffodil Gang from "Chapter 37: Fury of the Earth" have identical names (or in Shannon's case, alias) and appearances to Gaz Membrane, Yuki, and the Rowdyruff Boys, to the point where Jamesdean5842 had to specify that they're not said characters, just inexplicably identical to them.
- "Chapter 38: The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos" introduces Johann Nyyozanovsky and Varya Nahasapeemapetilon Nyyozanovsky, who, ethnic differences aside (Johann is Russian and Varya is Indian, in contrast to the American J.D. and Varie), are identical counterparts to J.D. and Varie.
- "Chapter 70: Muscle Beach Louds" features three briefly-seen characters named Don, Larry and Sandy, who have the same names as Don, Larry the Lobster and Sandy Cheeks, and are even seen doing the same things as their namesakes did in "MuscleBob BuffPants". The author's notes don't explicitly state if they're supposed to be the same characters as them, but the chapter's wording regarding them indicates that they're different, fic-original characters who simply happen to share their names and some parts of their appearances.
- Infodump: In the later chapters, whenever a character or sometimes even an element is introduced, expect a copy and paste from a fan wiki or Wikipedia.
- Interdimensional Travel Device: "Chapter 41: The Light VS Magic (Simulator Test)" introduces the Simulatornote , a recurring quasi-virtual reality computer stored in a special room that was created by Lisa with the purpose of allowing the main characters to practice their powers, weaponry and fighting skills in any potential dimension, setting and time, including (beyond virtual simulations) traveling into the worlds or universes of any other media. As well as being used for casual training, the Simulator is the means with which the main characters access to many missions and fights throughout the fanfic duology.
- Interpol Special Agent: Interpol is treated as a full-blown police force.
- Invincible Hero: You can't win against J.D. Knudson and his friends, even if you try!
- It Makes Sense in Context: It gets weirder and weirder until you get to the point where bullying will land you in the slammer and Vypra, a literal demon and Praxina, an alien are sisters.
- Jekyll & Hyde: In "Chapter 40: The Light Shines Forth", Luan is revealed to have an evil Split Personality named Dark Luan, which is responsible for her sadistic pranking rampages in The Loud House's April Fools Episodes as represented in the fic.
- Karmic Poverty: In "Chapter 2: Origins, Part 1: Moving and Meeting the Louds", when the Louds see that the Knudsons are moving to the mansion where Princess Morbucks and her family used to live in, Lola and Lisa tell J.D. that about a year before the chapter's events, Princess and her family were evicted from the mansion and had all their assets seized as punishment for the sheer damage Princess had caused with her obsession with committing crime sprees (which Lola had reported to the Royal Woods police), leaving them poor and homeless. Princess eventually becomes a Chekhov's Gunman in "Chapter 116: A Spoiled Brat's Vendetta", wherein she seeks to kill the Louds and Knudsons in order to get revenge on Lola and get the mansion (now merged with the Loud House into the larger Knudson-Loud Estate) back for herself. In said chapter, it's also mentioned that Princess was disowned by her father during the interim, due to her becoming too evil and bloodthirsty for him to handle.
- Kill It with Fire:
- Lola gets fire superpowers, which eventually become her most recurring means of attacking.
- In the climax of "Chapter 46: Simulator, Part 5: Fire VS Adult Tyranny", Lola gets into a fight with Father, who uses his own fire powers against Lola's. The fight ends with Lola incinerating Father to death after progressively burning him and wearing him out.
- In "Chapter 77: Carol's Redemption", Carol Pingrey earns fire powers during the Dragonheart simulator adventure, which she immediately uses against Morgan Pingrey. Not only does she damage Morgan considerably, but she eventually causes collateral damage at the castle they're at, creating a pile of rubble that collapses on Einon from Dragonheart (while he was fighting Bowen, no less) and temporarily knocks him out.
- In Lola's simulator stage in "Chapter 82: Plan for Babysitting", Lola gives Mother Gothel a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown with her fire powers, throwing loads of fire-enhanced punches and fire blasts at her. She comes close to torching her to death, only being set back by Gothel's wounds somehow healing right afterward. After Lola helps in restraining Gothel and bringing her to justice, Gothel ends up being executed via death sentence instead.
- In "Chapter 116: A Spoiled Brat's Vendetta", Lola uses her fire powers against Princess Morbucks out of rage at meeting her and having to confront her yet again (after a few Noodle Incidents between the two). It culminates in Lola using a fire beam alongside Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup's light beams and Lana's ice beam in order to kill Princess for once.
- Last of Her Kind: In "Chapter 90: The Last of the Addams", Wednesday Addams is the only survivor of the Addams family following their house exploding.
- Later-Installment Weirdness: Earlier chapters were only remakes of Loud House episodes with J.D. appearing to help out Lincoln and Clyde, while later chapters contain the following: entire wikia entries, transformation sequences that are pages long, Lincoln's harem growing bigger by each chapter, song lyrics copied and pasted, and gym sequences featuring 900,000,000,000,000 crunches.
- Latin Land: Chapter 1739 serves as the Cinco de Mayo special featuring the Colombian Madrigals.
- Legion of Doom: The trope namer themselves and the Masters Of Evil. Although, calling them evil is a large stretch.
- Longer-Than-Life Sentence: If a villain isn't outright killed or Dragged Off to Hell, chances are they'll be on the receiving end of this kind of prison sentence instead, with "Chapter 61: The Eds Strike Back" introducing a prison specifically dedicated to these sentences, Lake Vostok Triple Supermax Prison.
- Examples include:
- Chandler McCann's lifetime mental facility sentence in "Chapter 30: Laney's Revenge", which is eventually interrupted in "Chapter 67: The Nature Sisters Cometh", when Chandler manages to break out of the Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital, the mental asylum he was locked up at (which, going by the description of its breakout, seemed more like a standard prison rather than an actual asylum).
- The Black Daffodil Gang's (minus Shannon Deluthe) sentences of 5 life sentences plus 4,982 years for each guilty member in "Chapter 37: Fury of the Earth". Betsy Davis in particular gets an extra 25 years for her sentence, plus an order to pay 3 million dollars in restitution to the Louds.
- Shannon Deluthe's parents' sentences of 4 life sentences plus 850 years each in "Chapter 37: Fury of the Earth".
- Madame Medusa and Mr. Snoops' equal sentences across multiple US states in "Chapter 50: Simulator, Part 9: Twin Lightning Diamond Rescuers". These include a life sentence plus 10 million dollars of restitution in New York, 300 years in Florida, 200 years in Alabama, 100 years in Mississippi and Louisana each, and 990 years in Texas. In total, their respective prison sentences amount to one life sentence plus 1,690 years each.
- The Kanker Sisters' permanent deportation from the US and imprisonment in "Chapter 61: The Eds Strike Back", which is topped off by them being also ordered to pay 300 billion dollars of restitution for the public destruction they've caused.note
- Citracett's sentence "to eternity" in "Chapter 62: IT'S RIPPING TIME!".
- Ms. Trunchbull's sentence of 30 life sentences plus 5,834 years in "Chapter 78: Lightning Strikes Brutally".
- Vlad Masters' sentence of 753,762 years in "Chapter 89: A Town of Ghosts".
- Mayor Shelbourne's sentence "for eternity" in "Chapter 129: Forecast: Raining Food".
- Amelia Von Butch's sentence of 15,234 years.
- Vicky's sentence of 440 life sentences plus 20,764,146 years.
- Some very unfortunate villains are either cursed with eternal life or cryofrozen in order to force them to serve the entire sentence, such as:
- Cain Torresnote in "Chapter 130: Cereal Offender", who's immortalized with the Mark of Cain by J.D. and condemned to 40 life sentences, his punishment being arranged so that he'll immediately die once his sentence ends.
- Norman Bates in "Chapter 134: Worse than a Psycho", who's immortalized by J.D. and forced to serve a prison sentence without parole of 1,220 life sentences plus 12,753,812 years.
- Examples include:
- Made of Iron: Somehow both zig-zagged and exaggerated. While every antagonist is capable of being killed one way or another, they somehow manage to survive absolutely devastating attacks that would disintegrate a regular person in real life, though they do get weakened as a result.
- Mad Libs Catchphrase: Nico Chan's go-to Pre-Mortem One-Liner is "[Name], you have failed this world."
- Magic Music: Sometimes heroes sing a song in order to power up their attacks, complete with lyrics. Usually these are anime openings.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: The fanfic crosses over with works from almost every medium imaginable, from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory to Wolfwalkers. Earlier chapters featured the characters visiting just one world, but more recent chapters feature two or more crossovers (e.g. The Invisible Man (2020), Sphere and T.U.F.F. Puppy). If you look up the fanfic's title with a certain fandom or character name, chances are a chapter may pop up.
- Multiple-Tailed Beast: Eventually, many members of Team Loud Phoenix Storm gain multiple tails. Lincoln, for an example, has 105 wolf tails.
- Named by the Adaptation: The Super Mart Manager
note from the The Loud House episode "Cereal Offender" has no actual given name, being only referred to as "Manager" in the episode's credits. In the episode's Revamped version, "Chapter 130: Cereal Offender", the manager is given the name of Cain Torres. - Never Trust a Title: Chapter 80 was originally titled "An Antidote for Porn Addiction", but actually has nothing to do with someone's porn addiction, instead being about Lana's fondness for eating dog biscuits becoming worrying. Given how the chapter is a recreation of An Antidote for Addiction
(a Loud House fic by Jamesdean5842's friend Harburton81), and how Jamesdean5842 eventually retitled the chapter to "An Antidote for Addiction", the word "porn" in the title was likely an oversight. - No Endor Holocaust: Even the attacks that shake the very foundation of the universe tend to not cause collateral damage unless the plot requires it.
- Non-Indicative Name: The Simulator, a computer created by Lisa in "Chapter 41: The Light VS Magic (Simulator Test)" (after an Early-Bird Cameo in "Chapter 38: The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos") that serves as a crucial plot element in many chapters of the fic. Its name would indicate that it's designed to create Virtual Training Simulations, but although it's explicitly mentioned by Lisa that it does have such function, the main characters mainly use it as an Interdimensional Travel Device, and sometimes an Intradimensional Travel Device.
- Nosebleed:
- Lincoln's nose tends to bleed seeing his harem members transform.
- Many members of Lincoln's harem get a nosebleed seeing Lincoln, especially when the team is doing exercises.
- Off with His Head!: Espio decapitates Randall in chapter 1471.
- Omniglot: J.D. knows everything from English to Vietnamese.
- One-Steve Limit: Heavily Averted. Even ignoring the presence of many characters from different official works with the same names (e.g. Luna Loud, Luna and Princess Luna all coexisting in the fic's multiverse), some of the Original Characters also share names with each other, such as Morgan Pingrey, Carol Pingrey's evil Split Personality from "Chapter 77: Carol's Redemption" and Morgan, one of Lori's best friends first seen in "Chapter 121: Facing Demons".
- On the Next: From chapter 830 or so onwards, at the end of the chapter there will be a section that describes what is going to happen in next chapter. They start out as a single sentence but as the chapter number increases the preview gets longer. By the end of chapter 1900 and onward, the description of upcoming chapter takes up usually at least half of the page, if not more.
- Original Character: Aside from the multitude of characters from diverse media, the fanfic is also chock-full of original characters from the very beginning.
- "Chapter 2: Origins, Part 1: Moving and Meeting the Louds" starts off by introducing self-insert protagonist J.D. Knudson and his several relatives (most prominently his father Sumner Knudson).
- "Chapter 6: Battle for the Sweet Spot" introduces Alfred, the Knudson family's butler who's apparently named after Alfred Pennyworth, but is clarified in a parenthesis to be a completely different character from him.
- "Chapter 7: Raw Deal" introduces Varie Knudson, J.D.'s mermaid girlfriend who's based on Varie Fanel from The Vision of Escaflowne, but is clarified by the author's notes to not be her and instead be an original character. This is especially solidified by "Chapter 44: Simulator, Part 3: The Gem of Water", which reveals that she hails from the world of Steven Universe and hardly has any correlation to the world of The Vision of Escaflowne.
- "Chapter 15: Tricked" introduces Royal Woods police officers Paul and Stacey, who from time to time arrest certain villains defeated by the main characters, and occassionally provice advice and comfort to them as well.
- "Chapter 35: Enter Linka Loud" introduces Larry Loud, Laney's genderbent counterpart.
- One of the recurring characters is the mayor of Detroit (which Royal Woods is made to be a suburb of in the fic), who's introduced in "Chapter 37: Fury of the Earth" and is only known as "Mr. Mayor".
- Aside from Mr. Mayor, "Chapter 37: Fury of the Earth" also introduces the following characters:
- The Black Daffodil Gang, a youth delinquent gang consisting of 11 members individually named Betsy Davis, Max, Megan, Tori, Kori, Shannon "Gaz" Deluthe, Yuki, Boomer, Brick, Butch and Tone.note Shannon makes a Heel–Face Turn and remains an ally of Team Loud Phoenix Storm for the rest of the fic, while the rest of the members are never seen again after being sentenced to prison at the end of the chapter.
- Chief Molonex, the chief of the Royal Woods Police Department.
- "Chapter 52: Simulator, Part 11: Power of the Earth" introduces Gabrielle, a young girl who's adopted into the Loud family after being found and rescued by Lynn and Terra.
- "Chapter 72: End of the Terror of the Snake" includes the birth of Mikari Shijon, a young woman with neon blue hair and the power of the Crystal Style Kekkei Genkai and the Rinnegan who was vomited up by that chapter's instance of Orochimaru shortly before his death.
- "Chapter 86: Pox is No Fun" mentions Cheryl Henderson, Chandler's 6-year-old sister who is said to be the opposite of him.
- "Chapter 121: Facing Demons" introduces Carrie and Morgan, two teenage girls who are best friends of Lori.
- "Chapter 130: Cereal Offender" features Abel Torres, the brother of the Super Mart Manager
note from the The Loud House episode "Cereal Offender" (who's named Cain Torres in the fic).
- Other Me Annoys Me: In "Chapter 938: A World Ruled by Evil Powerpuffs", the adult Blossom tells the Powerpunk Girls that she and her fellow adult Powerpuff Girls are ashamed to call the Powerpunks their Evil Doppelgangers.
- Out-of-Character Alert: A lot of characters act in ways that they wouldn't in their own shows or movies.Marge Simpson (after seeing Homer and Mindy Simmons get married): YOU FUCKING BITCH! I WILL KILL YOU FOR THIS! I WILL BE BACK! I WILL KILL YOU!
- Our Angels Are Different: The word "angel" is used to describe any character with wings and super powers, usually the Empowered Badass Normals.
- Overly Long Gag: About most of the things that occur in this story (especially in the later chapters) will veer into this territory. Just look at a couple of the entries citing some parts of the fic on this page!
- Overly Long Name: Most of the characters' Super Modes have incredibly long names. For example, Super Brother, an Alternate Self of Lincoln, transforms into Super True Divine Heavenly Phoenix True Seraphim God Archangel-Ebonwu-Thunderbird-Alicorn-Vampirairan-Werewolfairan-Buffalo-Dragon-Demon-Mermaid-God-Phoenix-Harmony United Friendship Universal Eternal Celestial Xelnaga True Cosmic Eternal Harmony Universal Eternal Heaven Cosmos True United Friendship True Almighty Eternal Celestial Cosmic Elemental Almighty Eternal Godly Friendship Universal Cosmic Elemental Heaven Cosmos Storm Shining Rainbow Ultimate Harmony True Unbreakable Eternal Bonds True Immortal True God Hero Thunderbird Buffalo True Alpha Werewolfairan Vampirairan Cyborg God Mythological True Seraphim God Phoenix God Archangel of Divine True Cosmic Eternal Harmony Universal Eternal Heaven Cosmos True United Friendship True Almighty Eternal Celestial Cosmic Elemental Almighty Eternal Godly Friendship Universal Cosmic Elemental Heaven Cosmos Storm Shining Rainbow Ultimate Harmony True Unbreakable Eternal Bonds True Immortal True God Hero Thunderbird Buffalo True Alpha Werewolfairan Vampirairan Cyborg God Mythological True Seraphim God Phoenix God Archangel Justice and Divine True Cosmic Eternal Harmony Universal Eternal Heaven Cosmos True United Friendship True Almighty Eternal Celestial Cosmic Elemental Almighty Eternal Godly Friendship Universal Cosmic Elemental Heaven Cosmos Storm Shining Rainbow Ultimate Harmony True Unbreakable Eternal Bonds True Immortal True God Hero Thunderbird Buffalo True Alpha Werewolfairan Vampirairan Cyborg God Mythological True Seraphim God Phoenix God Archangel Hope.
- Parental Incest: A variant by proxy of the characters involved being alternate selves of each other's relatives from different universes, which is considered by the fic itself as not being actual incest. "Chapter 91: The Swordmistress Flies Forth" adds a younger alternate-universe version of Kushina (the original self of whom is Naruto's mother) to Naruto's harem.
- Pay Evil unto Evil: Team Loud Phoenix Storm are fond of punishing villains in this way, with many of the punishments even extending to disproportionate degrees.
- Polyamory: In the future, Lincoln Loud will marry multiple (i.e. well over a thousand) wives from other media and have children with them. Some of them join him in the present day. Naruto, J.D. and Clyde get their own harems as well.
- Power Dyes Your Hair: With exception of J.D.'s (which is a Golden Super Mode instead), the Super Angel forms of various characters change the hair color of the user to a character-specific color out of a wide spectrum.
- Varie's, first shown in "Chapter 60: The Lion's Angel", is aqua blue.
- Naruto's, first shown in "Chapter 83: Varie the Swordmistress", and Lincoln's, first shown through him going Super Angel 2 in a dream in "Chapter 121: Facing Demons", are both orange.
- Laney's, first shown in "Chapter 97: Plants VS Kakashi", is emerald green.
- Sasuke's, first shown in "Chapter 127: Power of the Kaiju", is black, thus subverting this because his hair is already black.
- Power Echoes: After numerous transformations, characters often talk with an echo, often about how incredible they feel. Eventually, Lincoln talks with the "Divine Echoing Godly Voice of The Divine Godly Universal Mythological Cosmic Eternal Harmonious United Friendship Elemental Thunderbird Buffalo Vampire Werewolf Demon Dragon Mermaid Phoenix God Angel of Truth, Justice, Love, Compassion, Hope, Forgiveness, Valor, Virtue, Determination, Loyalty, Honesty, Generosity, Kindness, Selflessness, Courage, and Trust and Divine Godly Universal Mythological Cosmic Harmonious United Friendship Elemental Thunderbird Buffalo Vampire Werewolf Phoenix God Angel of Truth, Justice, Love, Compassion, Hope, Forgiveness, Valor, Virtue, Determination, Loyalty, Honesty, Generosity, Kindness, Selflessness, Courage, and Trust and Divine Cosmic Eternal Godly Universal Mythological Cosmic Eternal Harmonious United Friendship Elemental Thunderbird Buffalo Vampire Werewolf Demon Dragon Mermaid Phoenix God Angel of Truth, Justice, Love, Compassion, Hope, Forgiveness, Valor, Virtue, Determination, Loyalty, Honesty, Generosity, Kindness, Selflessness, Courage, and Trust and Divine Godly Universal Mythological Cosmic Harmonious United Friendship Elemental Thunderbird Buffalo Vampire Werewolf Phoenix God Angel of Truth, Justice, Love, Compassion, Hope, Forgiveness, Valor, Virtue, Determination, Loyalty, Honesty, Generosity, Kindness, Selflessness, Courage, and Trust".
- Power Glows: Whenever a character unlocks Super Mode, or, at least, an upgrade to it, both the Tree of Harmony and the World Tree on Lincoln's estate pulsate with power.
- Protagonist-Centered Morality: J.D. is obsessed with making villains' lives miserable, even going so far as to kill those he deems deserving of death, which ironically makes him seem just as dangerous—if not more so—than the villains he fights. Despite being a Jedi, he frequently violates the Jedi Code, constantly seeking revenge and inflicting sadistic, unnecessary cruelty on others. While he justifies his actions by identifying as a Grey Jedi—allowing him to disregard certain rules—he often tortures people for no reason. For instance, he visits prisoners in their cells to physically assault them or subject them to absurd humiliation, such as repeatedly farting on them until they lose their hair. Though he rationalizes these acts by claiming the villains are scumbags and he has nothing better to do, his behavior remains excessive and disturbing.
- Radiation-Induced Superpowers: There are several examples.
- In "Chapter 57: Louds and Ninjas", J.D. reveals that he gained his superpowers from getting hit by a burst of "cosmic radiation from outer space" when he was a baby.
- In "Chapter 77: Carol's Redemption", after Morgan Pingrey is split off of her, Carol gains kaiju powers from a burst of cosmic radiation similar to J.D.'s.
- In Vince Pusateri's introduction in "Chapter 130: Ceral Offender", Vince affirms that he got his powers from cosmic radiation, in response to J.D. guessing that.
- After eating a Toxic Marshmallow of Loserdom for the final part of the challenge of "Chapter 140: Canada Mutant Island, Part 4", J.D. grows an electric eel tail. At the start of the next chapter, the eel tail is revealed to be prehensile and to have enhanced many of J.D.'s existing powers, mainly his electric ones.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: The speech J.D. gives to Fugaku Uchiha in chapter 1398 involves calling him out on his delusions and the Uchiha's crimes:JD: Hmm. Yes and a "Motherfucking Cur" was the only kind of person you can handle. I remember that you said that very same thing to me in 150,000 years just as I was killing the Uchiha for their crimes and snuffing out the very darkness that they used to destroy so many lives. When you made your speech about how you were going to kill all of the Leaf in the name of Madara Uchiha all you did was seal your fate. You poisoned your own son with your own hatred and turned him into a miniature version of you and you poisoned his mind with so much of your hatred that he became a totally lost cause. You made him into a homicidal and completely mentally unstable psychopath and he did not show any value towards friendship or comradery. He wanted everything handed to him on a silver platter just like you do. He cheated in everything, Even though Ninjas cheat, education is the one thing that we NEVER cheat at. Isn't that right and they say that you were leading the Uchiha to greatness. But it turns out you're just another lost soul of the run-of-the-mill ninja. And you know it. You're not even in the same league in the kind of power that I possess. I can destroy the entire universe in the mere blink of a cosmic eye. In fact, next to my kind of power and the power that you have, you are nothing compared to me and are nothing but a bunch of pathetic ants compared to it. The way you covet all that power, the way you do all the deeds in the name of the devil known as Madara Uchiha, a monster and a planet destroyer. It's downright fucking disgusting. As the most powerful fighter and warrior and champion in the universe, all I see when I look at you is a fucked up miserable fuckweed and a heartless motherfucking psychotic wretch. And on top of that I fucking hate your style above all others you ruthless fuckkicker! What is it that you are hoping to accomplish? Stealing all the jutsu in the world just to expand your jutsu arsenal and repertoire, committing crimes all over the planet just to satisfy Madara Uchiha, murdering innocent people, stealing jutsu, and above all betraying the very village you founded. You Uchiha Motherfuckers don't give a flying fuck about anyone but your pathetic goddamned motherfucking selves and that is why I killed them all. The Uchiha are heartless monsters that murder, lie, steal, betray and are completely powerhungry. YOU ALL FUCKING DISGUST ME!
- Recursive Fanfiction:
- Several characters and story elements are derived from other fanworks. Laney Loud is from Laney In The Loud House by Kinghammer Publishing, and Hercules and Zoe Weatherly are from Welcome to the Loud House by PerkyGoth14, to name a few.
- Chapter 53 is this for Land Before Time Retold by Elise Lowing.
- "Chapter 80: An Antidote for Addiction" is Revamped's version of An Antidote for Addiction
, written by Jamesdean5842's friend Harburton81.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning:
- Dark Luan from "Chapter 40: The Light Shines Forth" is Luan's evil Split Personality, and she's described as looking just like Luan but with blood red eyes.
- Morgan Pingrey, Carol Pingrey's evil Split Personality from "Chapter 77: Carol's Redemption", looks like a near-identical version of Carol with red eyes.
- Retcon: Chapters 5 and 39 were written over half a year after the chapters they take place in between, with well over 100 chapters being written before they were. No effort was made to integrate the continuity changes made by these chapters into the ones that came after, but were written before, them.
- Ruder and Cruder: In comparison to the show it's based on, at least. Characters regularly say "fuck", "shit", "bitch", and tons of other swear words, something that never happens in The Loud House, or many of the properties represented here for that matter.
- Sadly Mythtaken: Chapter 37 has Lynn gain earth powers from the Earthquake of Guabencex [sic], who is said to be a goddess of earthquakes and volcanoes. Guabancex is actually a wind and weather deity who creates hurricanes. Her domain is about as far from earth as a deity's domain can get, at least by standard Elemental Rivalry rules.
- Sailor Earth: With its large cast of characters and propensity for Adaptation Expansion, it's no surprise that The Loud House: Revamped contains its fair share of these.
- Laney Loud, introduced from the very beginning, is obviously a Sailor Earth packed in among the canon Loud family.
- Chapter 75, the Sailor Moon crossover, features the Trope Namer, as well as a Sailor Sun.
- Script Fic: The duology is primarily written in the format of script-based narration, though it also has many paragraphs of first-person and third-person prose narration used to describe characters, settings and events in ways that don't involve dialogue.
- Self-Duplication: Many characters can make clones of themselves. This ability is most commonly used by Lincoln who uses cloning to hug and kiss several members of his harem at the same time.
- Self-Insert Fic: The main protagonist of the fic is a fictionalized version of Jamesdean5842, referred to as James Dean "J.D." Knudson. There are also several other characters who are fictionalized versions of Jamesdean5842's friends.
- Serial Escalation: Who knew that this fic started simply as Loud House and Spongebob episode recreations before it turned into a full blown Massive Multiplayer Crossover with lots of adventures and ever growing harems in just about every chapter?
- Shaking the Rump: In "Get the Message", as with the episode it's based on, one of Lincoln's moves he does in the VR game is twerking to defeat zombies.
- Shared Dream:
- "Chapter 121: Facing Demons" takes place in a nightmare dreamscape set in the in-universe movie The Harvester from "The Price of Admission" (itself previously seen in the fic's version of the episode, "Chapter 31: The Price of Admission"), wherein a bunch of members of Team Loud Phoenix Storm plus the newly-introduced Carrie and Morgan fight the Farmer from the movie. Initially, it appears that the whole dreamscape took place only in Lincoln's dreams, with the rest of the TLPS members involved accessing it via the Simulator, but it later turns out that Carrie and Morgan are real people who were also experiencing the nightmare with Lincoln.
- A scene repeated in many a chapter, down to the dialogue being copied and pasted, sees Lincoln, JD and their harems waking up in the middle of the night, realizing they've had one of these.
- Show, Don't Tell: A number of fight scenes are written as "they kicked their butts", "an epic fight happened", so on and so forth.
- Sizeshifter: Every so often, the characters revert from Super Mode with a permanent height increase. Lincoln, in particular, goes from his regular height to seven feet, to eleven feet, to thirty feet, to 620'11", about the height of St. Louis's Gateway Arch, to an utterly immense 10,000'11".
- Song Fic: The "70s Disco Villain" chapter has a fair bit of lyrics for Disco songs.
- South of the Border: Chapter 1739 has Team Loud Phoenix Storm cast a Mexican-food themed group attack called "Cinco de Mayo Megablast Surprise" to defeat Don Rafael Montero.Lincoln: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD ELEMENT STYLE: TACOS!R. Mika: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD LIGHT STYLE: BURRITOS!Menat: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD STAR STYLE: TAMALES!Juri Han: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD DARK STYLE: QUESADILLAS!Ibuki: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD DARK STYLE: PIPIAN!Makoto (Street Fighter): CINCO DE MAYO FOOD LIGHT STYLE: CARNITAS!Kyoko: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD LIGHTNING STYLE: CHILAQUILES!Misako: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD LAVA STYLE: HUEVOS RANCHEROS!Gluko: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD DARK STYLE: MACHACA!Batch: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD LIGHTNING STYLE, DISCADA!Ronnie Anne: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD FIRE STYLE: MENUDO!Lincoln and his harem: CINCO DE MAYO FOOD FINAL SMASH: RAGING CHILI PEPPER BLAST!
- Strictly Formula: The formula changes gradually but later chapters go by a very specific plotline:
- There are usual shenanigans, then Nico rescues someone. After that, there are a a few to several girls that need rescuing. After a villain gets defeated and the girls being rescued, the girls are revealed to be part of Lincoln's harem and fall in love with him. After a workout session with large amount of physical and mental exercises, the team reads the data about the villains and is shocked and/or horrified. The team proceeds to do several 'usual battles'. Then the team battles the main villain, usually with at least one of the heroes undergoing transformation sequence. The villain gets defeated and the team enjoys rest of the day before going back to sleep.
- Super Mode: Name a character, and they're likely to have one, all connected to the World Tree on Lincoln's estate and all bearing convoluted names.
- Tastes Like Chicken: J.D. says this about ants and worms in "Chapter 140: Canada Mutant Island, Part 4" when he has to eat them for the Brunch of Disgustingness.
- There Is No Kill Like Overkill:
- A lot of villains, even the ones who are not that powerful, are on the receiving end of attacks that could shake even the entire planet or a galaxy.
- In "Chapter 61: The Eds Strike Back", upon being notified of the Kanker Sisters (who are precisely just a trio of girls) coming to Detroit by J.D., Mr. Mayor not only declares a state of emergency for Detroit, but also orders to send the United States' National Guard and Armed Forces to defend the city, with the Armed Forces' deployments including a bunch of tanks. J.D. adds that they'll give the Kanker Sisters "World War III". Justified in that J.D. warned the Kanker Sisters' sheer destructive capabilities to Mr. Mayor, mentioning that they had destroyed the entirety of Peach Creek after breaking out of prison.
- Time Travel: This fic utilises it a fair bit. One of the arcs has the team going into the far future to meet creatures from The Future is Wild.
- Transatlantic Equivalent: The Super Sentai are referred to as the "Japanese Power Rangers" for most of if not all the time, as the Power Rangers characters were introduced before the Super Sentai characters were.
- Transformation Sequence: Eventually, members of the Team Phoenix start undergoing transformation sequences. First it's the J.D. Knudson, then members of the Loud family, starting from Lincoln, then the rest of the team.
- Troubling Unchildlike Behavior: Chandler is a murderous psychopath at age 11.
- Trumplica: Averted. The actual Donald Trump appears in this fanfic, and is executed by firing squad in the only chapter he appears in.
- Unexplained Recovery: Some of the recurring antagonists who get killed off tend to inexplicably come back without any explanation to (try to) menace the heroes once more.
- Villainous Breakdown:
- In "Chapter 46: Simulator, Part 5: Fire VS Adult Tyranny", Father breaks into a fit of rage when Lola destroys half of his Delightful Mansion by firing a fire stream against Father's own fire stream and causing both streams to explode. His attempt to get back at her by throwing loads of fireballs at her proves to be self-destructive, as not only does Lola easily counter it back with her own fireball loads, but Father inadvertently destroys the rest of the mansion in the process.Father: My beloved house! [roars loudly in anger]
- In "Chapter 121: Facing Demons", the Farmer from The Harvester rages hard at Team Loud Phoenix Storm for disrupting his attempt at giving Lincoln somniphobia and eventually having Laney destroy his cooler.Farmer: YOU ALL RUINED EVERYTHING! THAT WAS MY NEW CROP AND I WAS GONNA MAKE MILLIONS!
- In "Chapter 46: Simulator, Part 5: Fire VS Adult Tyranny", Father breaks into a fit of rage when Lola destroys half of his Delightful Mansion by firing a fire stream against Father's own fire stream and causing both streams to explode. His attempt to get back at her by throwing loads of fireballs at her proves to be self-destructive, as not only does Lola easily counter it back with her own fireball loads, but Father inadvertently destroys the rest of the mansion in the process.
- Wall of Text: There are few examples of this happening:
- Examples include fight against Frollo's men in chapter 1583 that lasts more than an entire page.
- Later, battle scenes with Lincoln's rescue consist of more than a page worth of text wall of the team members unholstering their weapons.
- Webcomic Time: Inverted: Due to "revamped" versions of several episodes that take place at specific times of year being in rapid succession and out of order, it appears that more time passes In-Universe than in Real Life. For example, the first episode taking place on April Fool's was placed just three chapters before the only Halloween special at the time, then another three chapters later it's April Fool's again (actually it's June), then two chapters later it's winter, then the third April Fool's (actually August) is less than 30 chapters later.
- Whole-Plot Reference: Many early chapters copy plots of episodes of other cartoons outside of The Loud House. The most common are select SpongeBob SquarePants episodes.
- World Tour: The "Volcanic Trip" arc, despite its name, involves the team going on a general world tour.
- World Tree: There's a World Tree on the Knudson-Loud-Andersen estate. Whenever a character unlocks a Super Mode or an upgrade to it, the tree pulsates with power.
- Would Hurt a Child: Team Loud Phoenix Storm aren't above injuring and/or killing villainous children and teenagers if they deem it necessary to neuter them. Examples include beating up Chandler McCann in "Chapter 30: Laney's Revenge", killing Princess Morbucks in "Chapter 116: A Spoiled Brat's Vendetta", and killing Brandon Breyer in chapter 1491.
- Written Sound Effect: Starting from Chapter 750 or so, the fic started using "KRABOOOOOOOOOM!" to describe explosions. Sometimes it can be as long as an essay. This is most commonly seen in chapters 1000 to 1600. Later chapters replaced the longest krabooms with "Extremely long and powerful explosion" instead.
- Year Inside, Hour Outside: Even before the inclusion of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, this trope was in play thanks to the Simulator being able to be calibrated for it, thus making missions that take days, weeks, or even months "inside" still take less than a day "outside".
THE END
Another awesome trope page completed.
TV Tropes is an incredible website featuring thousands of tropes where even sitting on chairs is a trope. I spent my whole weekend browsing it.
