Next Grand World is a Fate/Grand Order and Kamen Rider Zi-O fanfiction crossover story by BigHead98.
The Olga Marie Animusphere of one timeline was betrayed by someone she held dear, which led to her death before she could prove herself. A world where the machinations of Beast I destroyed humanity's future. A world where Chaldea saved humanity's future.
Yet, Olga Marie Animusphere also lived another life in another time. Her dream was to rule over all, to become a queen. It was the Demon Queen of Time who ruled over humanity's future in that world and with everyone's sacrifice, she brought a new future to that world.
Now, with both worlds saved and becoming one, Olga must figure out the truth behind a new conspiracy that will decide the fate of the world before it is too late.

Next Grand Order contains examples of:
- Adaptational Badass: Olga in the canon of Grand Order, while being considered a high-class Magus on paper, has zero compatibility as a Master and was quite incompetent in the role of Director of Chaldea. Here, she's not only a Kamen Rider, but also quite possibly the most powerful one in the history of the franchise.
- Arch-Enemy: Due to the alterations made by Finis with the Another Shinobi Ridewatch, Qin Shi Huang views Master Gamano as his biggest enemy in the altered timeline of the China Lostbelt.
- Behemoth Battle: Near the end of Chapter 13, Ivan calls upon Zveri Krestnyi Khod during his fight with Another Zi-O II, who responds by summoning Another Kuuga.
- Big Damn Heroes:
- Olga arrives just in time for Anastaia’s invasion of Chaldea to save most of the already purged staff, before preventing the destruction of the building itself by teleporting it in a different time zone.
- Woz manages to save the Chaldea team just as Ivan's ice palace collapses from the battle between him and Another Zi-O II.
- Battle Discretion Shot: The first we see of Hiryu in the second Lostbelt is just right after he defeated "Sigurd".
- Borrowed Catchphrase: When first introducing herself as Kamen Rider Zi-O to others in the story, Olga uses Kamen Rider Decade's famous catchphrase.Kamen Rider Zi-O: Just a passing-by Demon Queen, remember that! Wait, no…doesn’t work like how he does it. Note to self: better to come up with my own thing for the future.
- Brains and Brawn: Finis is the Brain (The Spymaster who utilizes undercover work and subterfuge) to Viktor's Brawns (Frontline General who leads and organizes fighters for on the field battles).
- Break Them by Talking: Scathach-Skadi does this in her fight with Another Zi-O II, causing him to fight more recklessly and blindly than usual.
- Brought Down to Badass: Teleporting the entire building of Chaldea caused Olga to lose the power to transform temporarily.
- Call-Back: In "Worth of a Ruler" as Olga takes the Another Zi-O Ridewatch and takes back her power as Kamen Rider Zi-O, she almost word for word echoes Woz's words when he stole the power of Kamen Rider Woz from White Woz.
- Canon Welding: "Red Alert" has Woz explaining to Olga how the pruning of timelines works with Kamen Rider's multiple worlds (such as Paradise Lost and Kikai's future). Kamen Riders could function similarly to the Tree of Emptiness, ensuring their timeline's survival even as humanity dies out as shown within Zi-O's finale with Tsukuyomi's world. To ensure the Imaginary Tree could continue growing and prosper with functioning branches, a Kamen Rider whose existence is defined around destroying Rider Worlds was born, pruning these timelines should they prove themselves to be unsustainable.
- Clones Are People, Too: Discussed between Caster and Rider Da Vinci in Chapter 5.
- Co-Dragons: Finis and Viktor are this to Atalante Alter, the leader of the resistance of the Russia Lostbelt.
- Composite Character: Olga Marie Animusphere takes the place of Sougo Tokiwa as Kamen Rider Zi-O, having gone through his life and adventures before returning to her original world with her memories of her time as Zi-O fully intact.
- Cool Versus Awesome: Magical ice mammoth vs a monster stag beetle, both of whom are the size of mountains. Stag beetle wins.
- Continuity Nod: Olga notes that Woz's description of Ritsuka echoes Tsukuyomi's statement about her when they first met.
- As he's crawling back to his Ridewatch Hiryu is pissed off at Scathach-Skadi words as it reminds him of what Olga told him when she first defeated him.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Scathach-Skadi makes short work of Another Geiz and Another Tsukuyomi before utterly decimating Another Zi-O II in their one on one fight.
- Dark Secret: Olga didn't tell everyone about her being the future tyrant Geiz and Tsukuyomi went back in time to stop until after the Russian Lostbelt was because of something she didn't want to admit to herself: that she liked being Oma Zi-O.
- Defiant to the End: While she is under gunpoint by Olga, Ophelia refuses to tell her anything and dares her to shoot her dead. Olga opts to just knock her out cold.
- Determinator: Master Gamano has been waging his rebellion against Qui Shi Huang in the Chinese Lostbelt for centuries and is still as dedicated as ever to bringing him down.
- Double-Meaning Title: The name of the story, "Next Grand World", not only references Fate/Grand Order, it also refers to Grand Zi-O, Kamen Rider Zi-O's Super Mode and its Insert Song, "Next New World".
- Drama-Preserving Handicap: It is very clear that if Olga had full access to the power of Oma Zi-O from the start, there would be no story, so Olga outright loses her ability to turn into Zi-O by the end of Chapter Two.
- Early-Bird Cameo: "Debriefings and Summonings" showcases the first six Lostbelt Kings far before their canon appearances.
-
Easily Forgiven: Olga easily accepts the apologies of the two Chaldea employees who thank her for saving their lives for insulting her back when she was the official Director of Chaldea. - Et Tu, Brute?: In the altered China Lostbelt, Master Gamano used to serve Qin Shi Huang some time ago until he started the current rebellion against his empire. Qin can't help but note that his betrayal still hurts to this day.
- Evil Versus Evil: Once Another Zi-O comes into the Fantasy Tree, he makes it clear that he plans on taking over the Lostbelts, bringing him into opposition with the Crypters.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: After recovering and waking up from the ambush led by Another Woz, Atalante Alter attacks them all while angrily shouting Finis' name shortly before Finis is revealed to be Another Woz.
- Fusion Fic: Due to the power of Oma Zi-O being used at the beginning of the story, the worlds of Kamen Rider and the Fate Series have become one.
- Human Sacrifice: Near the end of the Lostbelt Russia storyline, Another Woz uses Anastasia as a means to bring about the return of Another Zi-O II.
- Icarus Allusion: Kirschtaria refers to Hiryu as an Icarus after the message to the Crypters ends.
- Idiot Ball: Hiryu deciding to send the Crypters as message about his intent to take over the Lostbelts from them, with all of them considering him a complete idiot for completely ruining ability to take them off guard out of arrogance. Finis themselves question the wisdom behind this choice.
- In Spite of a Nail: Rider Da Vinci still wakes up from her sleep even though Caster Da Vinci doesn't die at the hands of Kotomine in this timeline. This is due to Olga shifting time to save Chaldea from the Cypher invasion.
- Internal Reveal:
- Olga is informed of the events of Observer on Timeless Temple after her "death" in Singularity F by Da Vinci, Mash, and Ritsuka: the Seven Singularities, the 72 Demon Pillars, Lev actually being Flauros in disguise, the Beasts of Calamity, Romani’s true identity as King Solomon, who had his body stolen by Goetia, Beast I.
- In "Confessions From a Fable", not only is Woz the one to fill in the details about Olga's adventures as Zi-O, but also informs everyone about the Foreign God being the true mastermind behind Earth being bleached and the creation of the Lostbelts.
- In the Back: While Anastasia was distracted by Olga holding Kadoc hostage, Another Woz takes the time to stab her in the back with an energy strike, leaving her vulnerable enough to be used as the vessel to summon Another Zi-O.
- "SIN and NinPow!'' has Olga personally reveal to the Chaldea field team that the whole arrival of Future Riders and White Woz occurred due to her dreaming them up into reality.
- I Owe You My Life: The remaining staff of Chaldea certainly feel this way towards Olga, something made more potent given the 0% Approval Rating she had prior to becoming Zi-O.
- It's Personal: Rentaro, and to a lesser degree Iroha, want revenge on Akuta for something she did.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Billy the Kid, while a complete ass about it, correctly points out that even if destroying the Tree of Emptiness causes the destruction of the Lostbelt and all of the lives within it, it is more or less the only way they know how to save Proper Human History from being taken over before it is too late.
- Just One Second Out of Sync: How Olga managed to save Chaldea from being destroyed, though at the cost of being able to transform for quite a bit.
- Merged Reality: This is Another Zi-O II's plan. By combining each Lostbelt on the Fantasy Tree, they are able to grow and spread over the Earth faster than normal on their own.
- Later on in the story, Finis uses the Another Ridewatches of the Future Kamen Riders to merge their histories with certain Lostbelts, starting with Shinobi and the Chinese Lostbelt.
- Mirror Character: Both Kaito and Koyanskaya are for hire mercenaries who are willing to work for anyone so along as the reward furthers their goals. However when it comes to personal actions towards others, Kaito will more likely Pet the Dog while Koyanskaya will lean towards Kick the Dog.
- The Mole: Finis, Atalante Alter's seemingly loyal right hand, who has been secretly working for Hiryu/Another Zi-O in order to bring him into the Lostbelt.
- Mythology Gag:
- The ending of "Worth of a Ruler" has Olga cracking Hiryu's neck in Rider form after taking his power for herself, referencing the moment Kiba killed Kusaka.
- The reveal that Geiz is Another Tsukuyomi while Tsukuyomi is Another Geiz is reference to the Zi-O novel.
- The ending of "Worth of a Ruler" has Olga cracking Hiryu's neck in Rider form after taking his power for herself, referencing the moment Kiba killed Kusaka.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero!: The only reason why Hiryu was able to possess and take over Anastasia's body before going on to defeat Ivan and become the Lostbelt King of the Russian Lostbelt is because Kadoc corrupted her Spirit Origin when he summoned her.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain!: Scathach-Skadi beating Hiryu as badly as she does is what allows Olga to obtain the Another Zi-O II watch faster than originally planned, resulting in her regaining her power as Kamen Rider Zi-O.
- No-Sell: Koyanskaya manages to break out of the time freeze Kaito put her him through sheer force of well.
- "Not So Different" Remark: How Olga convinces Goredolf to give being co-directors of Chaldea a chance instead of outright returning the position back to her: both of them were inept in the position they were ill prepared for while being manipulated by someone they trusted on behalf of their enemy.
- No Time to Explain: Olga's reaction to Mash asking who is White Woz, to the point of having to put her hand over Black Woz's mouth to prevent him from explaining.
- Obsessed with Food: The first thing Mordred did when summoned back to Chaldea was demand food, with her first scene in the story devouring a plate full.
- Old Master: In the Chinese Lostbelt, one of the elite fighters Akuta brought with her to invade the hidden shinobi village is the elderly looking Li Shuwen, who proves to be a deadly opponet to have.Kamen Rider Monomi: Last time I'm underestimating any wrinkly geezer…
- Order Versus Chaos: Due to the changes made to the history of the Chinese Lostbelt, Master Gamano works as the Chaos to Qui Shi Huang's Order due to the former having formed a rebellion and converting the citizens of the latter's perfectly synchronized and static human population.
- Orcus on His Throne: Played With in regards to Scathach-Skadi. She's sitting on her throne as she completely decimates Another Geiz and Another Tsukuyomi.
- Other Me Annoys Me: Caster Da Vinci lives long enough to meet her Rider self...and immediately finds her quite the pest from their very first interaction.Caster Da Vinci: ...Is this what everyone from home had to deal with back in the day?
- Outside-Context Problem: Finis is this in the second main arc of the story. Not only are they a fifth Time Jacker Olga and her friends have never encountered, they are discovered to have found a way to use Another Riderwatches to basically change the Lostbelts the Crypters are in charge of to suit their plans.
- Point of Divergence: Olga becoming Zi-O and entering the story changes quite a few things:
- She's able to arrive at the Chaldea building just in time for the Cypher's invasion, preventing its destruction at their hands. This also causes Chaldea to completely miss Kirschtaria's message to Earth as it was bleached.
- Da Vinci in her Caster form avoids dying at the hands of Kotomine Kirei thanks to Kamen Rider IXA spotting him before it was too late.
- Pre-Mortem One-Liner: Olga as Grand Zi-O gives one to Surfr, right before finishing him off.Olga: Let doom find itself doomed.
- Regretful Traitor: Heavily implied with Finis.Atalante Alter: Wait! Is it really true? Was everything we went through… Was everything you and me shared… A lie?Finis ...Only if you want it to be.
- Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: After Finis combines the history of Kamen Rider Shinobi with that of the Chinese Lostbelt, Akuta is the only one who remembers how the Lostbelt is supposed to be. Master Gamano also remembers Proper Human History despite the Shinobi Kamen Riders not remembering it themselves.
- Secret Test of Character: Given the multiple Armor Piercing Questions she gives in each respective fight one can interpret Scathach-Skadi's duels with Another Zi-O II and later Kamen Rider Grand Zi-O as her testing their characters to see what kind of rulers they aim to be in Proper Human History.
- She Is the King: Played With: while she considers herself the "Demon Queen of Time", she is still known as Kamen Rider Zi-O, which translates to "Time King".
- Shout-Out: In "Red Alert", Woz explains to Olga the existence of the Imaginary Tree from the Honkaiverse.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Atalante actually doesn't fight Chaldea in this story and joins them as they leave the Lostbelt.
- Snark-to-Snark Combat: Woz and Hans get very catty with each other.
- So Proud of You: Olga expresses this towards Ritsuka, encouraging him to take pride in the fact that he managed to completely prove her wrong about his capabilities as a mage.
- The Starscream: During their fight, Finis freely admits to Woz that they are using Kagawa for their own ends.
- Sympathy for the Devil: Even though he led the army that slaughtered her people and invaded her kingdom in a bid for conquest, Scathach-Skadi feels nothing but pity for Another Zi-O II.
- Time Master: Olga has officially had her "coronation" to ascend as the Demon Queen of Time, with her control over time manifesting in various ways throughout the story. It is even heavily implied that she managed to combine the history of Kamen Rider with Proper Human History while she was Oma Zi-O.
- Thanatos Gambit: Master Gameno allows Akuta to kill him without a fight in order to gain access to the computer Qin Shi uploaded his mind into.
- Underestimating Badassery: Kadoc dismisses Olga's threats when she has the Faizphone in Blaster mode pointed at him. One gun shot later, and he quickly complies.
- Even when she's informed of the fact that he defeated a Lostbelt King, Scathach-Skadi doesn't seem too concerned about Another Zi-O II's impending invasion.
- Despite not wanting to pick a fight with her, Koyanskaya refuses to let him leave peacefully. She ends up getting sent to another world as a result.
- Unknown Rival: Justified. Due to Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory, Akuta has no idea who Rentaro and Iroha are, even though they clearly want revenge for something she did to their family.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Kadoc twisting Anastasia's summoning is what allowed Another Zi-O II to enter the Fantasy Tree.
- Wham Episode:
- "Another Confrontation" ends with Anastasia gets used as a sacrifice to bring in Another Zi-O II aka Hiryu Kakogawa.
- "Embarking and Disembarking": Another Woz - who manages to kill Billy the Kid from the Russia Lostbelt- is revealed to be Finis, who has been secretly working for Hiryu. The group is saved by Woz, allowing Chaldea to escape the Lostbelt right as Another Zi-O II defeats Lostbelt Ivan, becoming the new Lostbelt King of Russia.
- "Our Next Steps" end with Finis capturing Patxi and preparing to turn him into Another Agito.
- "Calm Within The Storm" : Ends with Daiki Kaito appearing in front of Chaldea after Olga and Woz leave to confront Another Zi-O II.
- "Worth of a Ruler": Olga regains her power as Zi-O before every killing Hiryu, but not before discovering that not only Another Geiz and Another Tsukuyomi are the actual Geiz and Tsukuyomi, but Finis is the true mastermind behind his actions for unknown reasons.
- "For What It's Worth" After Olga defeats Scathach-Skadi and Chaldea escapes the Lostbelt after destroying its Tree of Emptiness, it is revealed that the one who hired Kaito to steal the Another Ridewatches of Shinobi, Quiz, and Kikai in exchange for important information was none other than Finis, who wants to use it for their own ends.
- "Other Side of the Lens": Finis' goal is revealed to be to save their world from destruction and is using the Another Ridewatches to change the Lostbelts for their own ends. Meanwhile, Koyanskaya is revealed to have been transported to the world of Kamen Rider Geats near the beginning of the ''Genesis' arc.
- "Riddles In The Timeline": The Chinese Lostbelt has merged with the timeline of Kamen Rider Shinobi due to Finis' actions, with Rentaro Kagura ready to fight Akuta Hinako, who is the only one who remembers how the Lostbelt is supposed to be.
- Wham Shot:
- "Moment of Respite": the person who comes from behind Sherlock is none other than Rider Da Vinci.
- "Embarking and Disembarking": Another Woz detransforms to reveal Finis.
- "Calm Within The Storm" : Right after Olga and Woz leave, a figure arrives in front of Chaldea willing to lend them a hand Daiki Kaito/Kamen Rider Diend.
- "Worth of a Ruler": Another Geiz and Another Tsukuyomi lost their monster forms to reveal the real Geiz and Tsukuyomi.
- Wham Line:
- "First Contact has two near the end:
Paxti: No other creatures native around our homeland have dates on their body.Olga: Geiz? Tsukuyomi?- "Another Encounter" has Olga save a figure in robes. Later, after visiting Gerturde's burial site, she brings Olga to a more private spot where she reveals her name: Finis.
- Kaito gives one right after sending Koyanskaya through a dimensional wall.
Kamen Rider DiEnd: Enjoy your vacation, miss kitsune. Mister kitsune should take care of you.- In "Worth of a Ruler" when Olga demands why he brought back Geiz and Tsukuyomi as Another Riders, Hiryu admits he didn't even know it was them as they were already with Finis when they contacted him.
- The Worf Effect: Another Woz properly introduces themselves in the story having personally defeated Atalanta Alter in a fight off screen.
- Worf Had the Flu: Both Kamen Rider Zi-O and Scathach-Skadi are both running on fumes by the time they fight one-on-one.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Olga gets this twice after the first Lostbelt and her situation with Oma Zi-O being known to Chaldea; first by Ritsuka and then by Sylvia.
