Todd Philip Bunzl, better known as Todd Phillips (born December 20, 1970 in New York City) is an American film director and screenwriter.
He is best known for directing a number of comedies (the smash hit The Hangover film series in particular), the Starsky & Hutch film, as well as the smash hit psychological thriller Joker, which reaped many awards.

- Creator's Oddball: War Dogs was a departure from the comedy genre he previously thrived into. Then there was Joker. For the latter though, it makes more sense when you consider that he directed the 1993 documentary Hated, concerning the final days of GG Allin, another deeply disturbed man who lashed out at a society he perceived as having let him down.
