Paul Anthony Sorvino (April 13, 1939 – July 25, 2022) was an American actor, opera singer, writer, businessman, and sculptor of Italian descent. Best known for his roles in GoodFellas, Law & Order, and Nixon, he was frequently typecast as a Mafioso due to being both Italian and a burly fellow.
Sorvino was married three times and had three children, including actors Mira Sorvino and Michael Sorvino. He died of natural causes in 2022 at the age of 83.
