Alex, aka Makerboy10, is a DeviantArt user who makes GMOD art and comics, most of them with his Inksona. The following comics have their own pages:

Tropes:

• Adaptational Nice Guy: His artwork featuring One-Shot Wren tends to portray him as a friendlier character after the events of Western Spaghetti, regretting his actions in the aforementioned movie. He even gave the character a redesign or two to reflect on this change.
• Audience Participation: His story arcs in 2026 encourage his friends and followers to make artwork based on them. They both involve The Multiverse, justifying this direction.
• Author Appeal: He loves a good "Basic Instinct" Legs-Crossing Parody. A few of his art pieces alone have characters doing this. It shows up in at least one of his videos too, that being Episode 3 of "The Twilight Insanity".
• Author Avatar: His Inksona is a large part of his art pieces and videos.
• Chick Magnet: His Inksona gets a lot of female attention, whether it's in his own works or those his friends made of him.
• Christmas Special: Starting in 2022^note or 2021 if you count the Christmas Episode of "Splatoon Fantasy Requiem", he's made a GMOD animation video for Christmas.
• Darker and Edgier: He's done horror stories under the name "Horror Tales", and some of his GMOD videos have darker themes, like "An Octoling's Remorse". Some of his webcomics fall under this too, like "Virtual Abduction''.
• Dark Is Not Evil: Zola, aka the FogMan, may look mean with his scary-looking mask and robe. But he's really a nice guy, and one of the most benevolent characters Makerboy ever created.
• Interspecies Romance: His Author Avatar, an Inkling, is consistently in a relationship with Saiko Bichitaru, a human. There are other characters he’s together with as well, most of them human.
• Lighter and Softer: Most of his works are either very dark or very emotional, but some of his shorter videos lean on the more lighthearted side with simpler premises, such as "The Phone Thief" and "Pie Bomb". For Lighter and Softer comics, there's "Alex puts Beans and Doritos on Laptop".
• The Multiverse: Comes into some of his story arcs in the 2026 era, namely the Multiversal Talent Show and The Hunting Game.
• Original Character: He has made original Inkling and Octoling characters, one such example being Sophia, the niece of One-Shot Wren.
