Leon Preston Robinson (often credited as Leon, born March 8, 1962), is an American actor best known for his roles as J.T. Matthews in The Five Heartbeats, Shep in Above the Rim and David Ruffin in The Temptations.
Other notable film and television credits include The Women of Brewster Place, Cool Runnings, Cliffhanger, Waiting to Exhale, Central Park West, Oz, Little Richard and Blue Bloods.
Not to be confused with the 1994 film The Professional, which is also credited as Leon: The Professional or just Leon.
