JM Animation (Creator)

Founded in 1997 by Joung Mee, a former production manager from Daewon Media, JM Animation was a Seoul based studio in South Korea, mostly known for doing most of Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender (alternating episodes with DR Movie in the first two seasons and Tiger Animation in the third). Following the completion of the series, several of the animators who worked on it left to found Studio Mir, which animated most of the Sequel Series The Legend of Korra. As of 2021, the company hasn't worked on any projects and presumably went out of business.
