Tropes common to Greg Pak's comics include:
- Awesomeness by Analysis:
- This is Amadeus Cho's stock in trade, making him a formidable combatant even before he gets Hulk powers.
- Pak has a pet theory that Bruce Banner's genius intellect is subconsciously active even while the Hulk is raging, calculating his every move to ensure that the Hulk doesn't cause any fatalities. Other Marvel writers are lukewarm on this idea, ignoring or directly contradicting it in their own stories.
- Creator Thumbprint: Pak's work reliably features at least one badass Asian-American character, whether he or she is newly created for whatever he's working on at the time or dragged out from obscurity. Thanks to him, heroes like Amadeus Cho and the Agents of Atlas have garnered more mainstream popularity.
- Write What You Know: Both Pak and Amadeus Cho are Korean-American.
