The Higgenbottoms
Bessie Higgenbottom
Elizabeth Kajolica "Bessie" Higgenbottom

Voiced by: Amy Poehler
The main character, a 9¾ year old (her words) Honeybee scout, who takes being Honeybee scout very seriously and wants to get every badge.- Afraid of Needles: She is so afraid of them she runs away from the doctors when she has to get her booster shot.
- Art Evolution: Her pale skin and her dirty blonde hair from season one changes into her tan skin and orange hair from season two.
- Break the Cutie: In "Portrait of a Happy" when Fritz, a local photographer, refuses to take pictures of her dog Happy.
- Butt-Monkey: The show's Terrible Trio (Portia, Gwen and Penny) seem to enjoy seeing her suffer.
- Catchphrase: "Awwwwwsome!"
- Cheerful Child: She's rather perky and upbeat.
- Childish Tooth Gap: She's a childish and ditzy kid with two missing front teeth.
- Cloudcuckoolander: She's a brilliant, but absent-minded girl, and seems to be completely ignorant of the attempts of Portia, the local Alpha Bitch, to make fun of or belittle her.
- Disappeared Dad: No mention of Bessie's father has been made.
- Ditzy Genius: Bessie has many talents, including being able to create cold fusion. Also creating a functioning spaceship when she was 5.
- Embarrassing Middle Name: Not embarrassing so much as cursed to anyone who dares speak it, making it more She Who Must Not Be Named. Before she went through serious lengths of covering it up, her full name was Bessie Kajolica Higgenbottom.
- Everyone Has Standards: Bessie's utterly devoted to the Honeybees, but she's a bit weirded out when she learns Portia's mom eats two boxes of their taffy every day.Bessie: Two boxes every day?
Mrs. Gibbons: One and a half, tops! ...leave us. - Expy: Bessie is based on Amy Poehler's character Stacy from Late Night with Conan O'Brien. A ditzy girl with a lisp and a sibling to Andy Richter.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Able to create cold fusion or build a working robot with limited AI.
- Gasshole: She farts into a microphone at an audition.
- Genki Girl: She's characterized by her extreme hyperactivity.
- Girlish Pigtails: She has blond pigtails.
- Idiot Hero: Bessie can do anything that will earn her a badge, but that doesn't make her any less of a ditz.
- Kid Hero: She is a 9-year-old Honeybee scout.
- Little Miss Badass: The crew may have gotten bored with the direction of season 1, so most season 2 episodes have some sort of unnecessary action sequences from nowhere, which seem highly out of context compared to season 1.
- Motor Mouth: Bessie can talk a mile a minute.
- Nerd Glasses: She sports a pair of glasses to compliment her dorky persona.
- Nice Girl: She has an upbeat and friendly personality most of the time.
- Picky Eater: Bessie apparently has an extremely sensitive palate where she can discern when an ingredient isn't as it usually is (at least when it comes to Honeybee Taffy). When the taffy formula changed due to the producers using artificial honey to cut costs, she was immediately able to tell that something was off and wasn't able to even swallow a single piece. Though in other areas of her life she has no issues eating other foods.
- Plucky Girl: Ambitious and determined to earn every badge in existence.
- Series Goal: Earn every single Honeybee Badge there is so she'll become the Mighty B.
- Speech Impediment: Bessie's missing her front teeth, so she has a little bit of a lisp. It's cute. Even when she has her teeth back, she still has a lisp.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Mostly ends out on top despite the abuse she's put through.
- Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Bessie subverts the many gender stereotypes of her peers and has some rather boyish qualities. Taken up a notch given her superhero persona has a buff and masculine build. But even so, Bessie never eschews things just for being traditionally "girly", and has never been shown to have any issue with dressing femininely in her daily life.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to Penny's Girly Girl.
Happy Higgenbottom
Happy Walter Higgenbottom

Voiced by: Dee Bradley Baker
Bessie's dog, she meets him in the pilot.- Afraid of Doctors: Happy had to be dragged by Bessie to go to the doctor.
- Alliterative Name: Happy Higgenbottom
- Badass Adorable: Happy is a little blue dog with one of his ears torn in half. Normally, he's loves to laze around, but when push comes to shove, he's got Bessie's back, and he can be very dangerous when pressed.
- Ear Notch: Part of his right ear is torn off.
- Fur Is Clothing: In the episode "B-Chip," Bessie asks a brainwashed Happy if he wants a booster shot. Cue him standing up and pulling down the lower half of his fur like pants giving us a closeup of his butt and his heart tattoo with the name "Jessica" on the right cheek.
- Intelligible Unintelligible: He can communicate with other characters.
- Non-Human Sidekick: He is Bessie's dog and accompanies her the most.
- Omniglot: Happy is fluent in 12 different languages, including French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Swahili, Pomeranian, and even Pandaren.
- Only Sane Man: Possibly the closest to normal in the Higgenbottom family.
- Right Out of My Clothes: In the first episode, he leaves behind his collar and a pair of Tighty Whities after Bessie releases him from his leash.
- Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: Manly Man to Ben's Sensitive Guy.
- Silent Snarker: Bessie reacts to his muttering as if he's saying something sarcastic and he frequently makes annoyed facial expressions towards Bessie's eccentrics.
- Team Pet: He's the family pet of the Higgenbottoms as well as the only main character not to be a human.
- The Unintelligible: Dogs in general are the "only understood by other characters" version.
Ben Higgenbottom
Benjamin "Ben" Higgenbottom

Voiced by: Andy Richter
Bessy's little brother- The Baby of the Bunch: Of the kids in the show, he's the youngest among the main cast.
- Big Fun: Seeing how he is a little obese.
- Compressed Vice: In Ben Appetit, Ben is afraid of food touching each other due to Bessie mashing his food together and forcing it into his mouth when they were young. However, this fear (or even getting over it) has never been shown or referenced before or after this episode as Ben usually eats food without concern of it touching other food.
- Disappeared Dad: No mention of either Bessie and Ben's father has been made.
- Expy: Much like Bessie is modeled after her character Stacy, Ben is a based on Andy Richter from Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
- Kid-Appeal Character: As Bessie's little brother.
- The One Guy: He's the only major human in the show who's a male. Sometimes averted when another guy is present.
- Only Sane Man: On the occasion Happy isn't being this, it's him.
- Picky Eater: His focus episode, "Ben Appetit", shows that he hates his food touching on his plate and will refuse to eat it if it does (thanks to Bessie traumatizing him as a child). Though by the end of the episode he appears to have gotten over his issues and the touching of food has ceased to be a problem for it.
- Sensitive Guy and Manly Man: Sensitive Guy to Happy's Manly Man.
- Tagalong Kid: He hopes to be Bessie's sidekick when she becomes the Mighty B.
- Tiny Guy, Huge Girl: He's shorter than both Bessie and his mother.
- Vocal Dissonance: His voice sounds quite deep for his age.
Hilary Higgenbottom
Hilary Higgenbottom

Voiced by: Megan Cavanagh
The single hippie mother of Bessie and Ben (and Happy, too). She runs Hilary's Cafe.- Alliterative Name: Her name being Hilary and Higgenbottom.
- Beauty Equals Goodness: She's a Big Beautiful Woman and one of the nicer cast members.
- Big Beautiful Woman: From what we can see, she's plump and curvaceous.
- Big Fun: She's plump and fun-loving.
- Good Parents: She takes good care of both Bessie and Ben, even if she can get annoyed with Bessie.
- Hartman Hips: Given that she's on the heavier side, she's drawn with significantly big hips, however, they're downplayed.
- Hidden Depths: She apparently knows a good deal about nuclear physics, able to single-handedly and successfully disable a radioactive atom smasher Bessie made for the science fair.
- Hippie Parents: Downplayed. She plays this role, following some of the hippie ideals as, the usual portrayals, except she's not a Granola Girl (her eatery mostly serves meat).
- Parents as People: Despite her daughter being a handful, it's clear she loves her very much.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: She tends to play this role in most of the episodes, at least in comparison to Mary Gibbons. She lets her kids be free to explore their imaginations and let's them get into whatever schemes, however, she will step in when she sees necessary (like when she forbid Bessie from using radioactive materials in science fair projects).
- Shoe Size Angst: Not immediately apparent, given that she's designed with tight boots, but in some episodes, she's revealed to have large bare feet.
- Tiny Guy, Huge Girl: Taller than her son, Ben, and her dog, Happy.
The Honeybees
Portia Gibbons
Portia Gibbons

Voiced by: Grey DeLisle
Mary Frances' Alpha Bitch daughter, who goes out of her way to get under Bessie's skin.- Alpha Bitch: A stuck-up, blonde, Valley Girl. Her cousin and mother are even worse.
- Beauty, Brains, and Brawn: She tends to play the beauty to Gwen's brains and Penny's brawn.
- Beauty Is Bad: Contrasting the homelier characters like Bessie and Penny, she's cute albeit with a terrible personality.
- Beta Bitch: While she's used to bossing Bessie, Gwen, and Penny around, she's contrastingly more submissive to Chelsea.
- Big Bad: For all intents and purposes, she's the show's principle antagonist, always trying to scheme against Bessie. Though sometimes she forages into Big Bad Wannabe territory instead.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: The blonde to Gwen and Penny's brunettes and Mary Frances' redhead.
- Bright Is Not Good: Wears white and has blonde hair while serving as the show's primary antagonist.
- The Bully: She seems to go out of her way to humiliate Bessie.
- Disappeared Dad: No mention of Portia's father has been made.
- Dumb Blonde: In the pilot episode, "So Happy Together", Portia spent the whole episode carrying around a rat thinking it was a dog, even kissing it. To be fair, everyone else thought so too.
- Everyone Loves Blondes: She's a blonde and is the most popular kid in the main cast.
- Evil Is Petty: In "Beenadict Arnold" Portia tried to take Happy away from Bessie just because it would make Bessie feel bad.
- Expy: Of Squidward Tentacles, except less sympathetic and more actively antagonistic rather than being somebody who wants to be left alone. Like Squidward, she has a low opinion on Bessie and often antagonizes her, but, like how Bessie is similar to Spongebob, she hardly ever realizes that Portia is trying to antagonize her, like how Spongebob is unable to comprehend that Squidward doesn't like him.
- For the Evulz: Often Portia's evil acts against Bessie have no real motivation.
- Handy Feet: In "Ten Little Honeybees" she stands on her two big toes to blow out her candles, and in "Hive Jacked" she uses her feet, instead of her hands, to turn the dial on Bessie's radio.
- Hate Sink: She's just a despicable bully who torments Bessie all the time and serves no other purpose than to help the viewers root for Bessie to succeed.
- Informed Judaism: Portia's cousin, Chelsea, has an episode focused around celebrating her lavish Bat Mitzvah, implying that their family is Jewish. This is not referenced at any other time in the show in regards to Portia.
- Jerkass: She's especially mean to Bessie.
- Laser-Guided Karma: She gets her comeuppance a fair amount of the time.
- Laughably Evil: She's not a good person by any means, but is still a heavily comedic person due to Bessie being completely ignorant of her animosity towards her, and her tendency to fail miserably, and she's just as prone to being comedic relief thanks to her awful personality and shortsightedness.
- Lean and Mean: She is contrastingly skinnier than the Higgenbottoms, and is much meaner.
- Smug Snake: Pretty much all of her evil schemes against Bessie end up failing one way or the other and it's almost always a direct result of her arrogance and/or lack of foresight.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Girly Girl to Bessie and Gwen's Tomboys.
- True Blue Femininity: She wears blue and white.
- Unknown Rival: To Bessie, who doesn't even realize that Portia hates her.
- Valley Girl: In a low, scratchy Californian valley girl voice.
Gwen Wu
Gwen Wu

Voiced by: Jessica DiCicco
Portia's best friend who's "totally tuned into hip-hop and urban culture"- Asian Rudeness: She's Portia's sidekick and is Chinese.
- Ambiguously Related: So far, the only other character with the surname of "Wu" is Mr. Wu and it's not clear if these two are related or not.
- Beauty, Brains, and Brawn: She plays much of the brains to Portia's beauty and Penny's brawn.
- Beauty Is Bad: With Portia as she's on the cuter side, but still enjoys bullying.
- Beta Bitch: Portia's right hand girl, along with serving as her dragon.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: The brunette to Portia's blonde and Mary Frances' redhead (One of two).
- The Bully: She is seen bullying Bessie along with Portia.
- Hidden Depths: Secretly believes in unicorns.
- Invisible Parents: She has five younger brothers (the youngest being a baby) but we don't see her mom or, for that matter, her dad (unless Mr. Wu's supposed to be her dad), though, we can infer them to be very busy, since Bee My Baby had her to be watching them.
- Jerkass: Probably slightly nicer than Portia, but she still picks on Bessie.
- Lean and Mean: Like Portia, she's thinner than Bessie and Penny and is similarly cruel.
- Punch-Clock Villain: When Portia's not around, she's nicer and doesn't antagonize Bessie as much.
- Token Minority: Being East Asian, she's the only major character who isn't white.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to Portia's Girly Girl, but the Girly Girl to Bessie's Tomboy.
Penny Lefkowitz
Penelope "Penny" Lefkowitz

Voiced by: Dannah Feinglass
Bessie's best friend, who's more brawn than brain- Beauty, Brains, and Brawn: Being Dumb Muscle, she plays brawn to Portia's beauty and Gwen's brains.
- Beta Bitch: Much like Gwen, she tends to go along with whatever Portia has in mind, albeit to a lesser extent.
- Big Eater: Tying into Extreme Omnivore, considering what she'll eat. She eats more taffy than she sells.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: The brunette to Portia's blonde and Mary Frances' redhead (One of two).
- Cargo Ship: In-universe: Fell in love with a robotic kangaroo.
- Depending on the Writer: Some episodes have her join up with Portia and Gwen to torture Bessie, others involved her being Bessie's good friend and going along with her on her adventures.
- The Ditz: Bessie's dimwitted friend and she's not too bright.
- Dumb Is Good: Penny isn't that bright, but she's also not as antagonistic as Gwen or Portia.
- Dumb Muscle: Penny, the
Shallow Parody to Donkey Kong. - The Eeyore: Quite pessimistic at times.
- Evil All Along: In "Super Secret Weakness".
- Expy: Of Patrick Star. She's fat, exceptionally unintelligent, as well as being incredibly strong, and tends to teeter between being the best friend of Bessie to another one of her enemies at the drop of a hat, much like how Patrick himself tends to be a wild-card who goes from being an easy-going buffoon whose friendly and nice to everyone to being an Insufferable Imbecile. Their names even both begin with the letter P as well.
- Fat Best Friend: To Bessie, though sometimes she joins Portia to gang up on Bessie.
- Fat Bitch: Downplayed; she can be this when she teams up with Portia and Gwen, Bessie's enemies.
- Fat Idiot: An awkward, dull, obese girl.
- Gasshole: Belches after drinking a root beer in "An I See Bee".
- Girlish Pigtails: Two little brown pigtails.
- Gonk: Just look at the size and shape of her head. It's shaped like a pear, adding more to her apelike build.
- Gonky Femme: Is really into feminine things, but is rather apish in appearance.
- Heel–Face Revolving Door: Penny is Bessie's best friend, and yet she frequently goes behind her back to team up with Portia and Gwen (sometimes to gang up against her, even). What's even more odd is that Bessie never seems to have a problem with this.
- Missing Mom: We only see her father, though, one episode (Dang It Feels Good to Be a Gamester), implies that her mom is still alive.
- Simpleton Voice: Very idiotic, and has a deep somewhat congested voice to go along with it.
- Token Good Teammate: Not as much of a bully to Bessie as Portia and Gwen.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Girly Girl to Bessie's Tomboy.
- With Friends Like These...: She cows to peer-pressure very easily and is willing to bully Bessie to get on Portia's good side. Exactly why Bessie continues to be her friend after this is anyone's guess.
Mrs. Gibbons
Mrs. Mary Frances Gibbons

Voiced by: Sarah Thyre
Portia's mom, who's the den-mother of the Honeybees. According to her, the Honeybees are a "mother-daughter activity".
- Apathetic Teacher: She hates her job as scoutmaster as much as she hates Bessie, especially when Bessie outshines her daughter.
- Big Eater: She mentions that she eats at least two boxes of Honeybee taffy every day, then quickly claims it’s more one and a half when Bessie gets weirded out.
- Bland-Name Product: She's a certified representative of "Pattie Faye", a Mary Kay parody.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: The redhead to Portia's blonde and Gwen and Penny's brunettes.
- Butter Face: Mary is drawn with a curvaceous body that features wide hips, but her face includes goofy bucked teeth.
- Deadpan Snarker: Especially in "Body Rockers".
- Everyone Has Standards: Despite her warped view of the Honeybees as a vehicle to please her daughter and clear disdain for Bessie, it's clear she takes the group's role of selling taffy very seriously; when Bessie exposes in "Something's Wrong With This Taffy" that the latest batch of taffy was given budget cuts to use fake honey, Mrs. Gibbons is among the crowd cheering Bessie on.
- Evil Redhead: Has orange hair and is a recurring antagonist.
- Hartman Hips: Similar to Hilary, she has a cartoonish large pair of hips, though, hers are more exaggerated, giving an illusion that she has two sets of buttocks in the front and back.
- Jerkass: Like her daughter, she's especially mean to Bessie.
- The Mentor: She is the den mother and guides the girls by the by-laws (no matter how petty).
- Obnoxious Entitled Housewife: She is the den mother of the Honeybees who flaunts her position within the upper-middle class and always looks for imperfections in her daughter, the other scouts, and especially Bessie. Her suburban respectability is in great contrast to the down-to-earth bohemian small business lifestyle of the Higgenbottoms.
- Parental Favoritism: She showers affection and pampering on her more conventionally attractive (and just as mean) daughter Portia but forces her sons Richard and Dick to function as butlers.
- '60s Hair: Wears her red hair in a large bouffant with a swooped flip at each side.
- True Blue Femininity: Like her daughter, she mostly wear shades of blue
Millie Millerson
Mildred "Millie" Millerson

"But you're in the middle of our archery field."

An odd little girl who's monotone and has braces
- Alliterative Name: Millie Millerson
- Ascended Extra: The makers of the show loved her voice so much they decided to make her more than just a background character.
- Braces of Orthodontic Overkill: Downplayed, as she had regular braces. She used to have braces throughout the show, but in the episode "Children of the Unicorn", her braces were removed.
- A Day in the Limelight: "Mr. Turtleton's Wild Ride", the episode concerning her trying to get the titular turtle back.
- Dumb Blonde: She has blonde hair, a slow voice, and can be silly, however, she's not stupid as most portrayals.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She's usually kind and friendly.
- Hidden Depths: According to the episode "Irritable Blowing Syndrome", she's good at giving advice.
- Temporarily a Villain: In "Stuffed Happens", she helps Mr. Pants ruin Bessie's reputation.
Miriam Breedlove
Miriam Breedlove
Voiced by: Niecy Nash
The president of the Honeybees.
- Big Beautiful Woman: To contrast Portia and her group's more traditional beauty with their Beauty Is Bad portrayal, Miriam is a lot larger in frame, but still portrayed as an ideal to look up to.
- Big Good: As the president of the Honeybees, she serves as the main reason Bessie and the others are even together and striving towards their goals.
- Excellent Judge of Character: One of the major signs she's good at reading people is how in "To Bee or Not To Bee" she immediately rejects Portia's contest submission tape as soon as it's about to brag about the contents of her closet, while she watches Bessie's earnest submission tape the whole way through and selects her as winner.
- Nice Girl: She's shown to be very understanding and kind, even willing to put up with Bessie's odd antics and hear her out.
- Rhymes on a Dime: She likes to stick rhymes into her sentences.Miriam: "Sorry hon, I gotta run!"
- Small Role, Big Impact: She is mentioned far more than she is seen, but is the series' Big Good and serves as a pivotal figure in two episodes.
- Token Minority: She's the only major African American character in the show.
- Unseen No More: After being previously only mentioned, she shows up in-person at the end of "Something's Wrong With This Taffy" (though "To Bee or Not To Bee" is treated as if it were her first onscreen appearance).
Other
Other Characters
Finger
Bessie's left index finger and imaginary friend- Evil Counterpart: Finguere, Finger's French cousin (really Bessie's right index finger) who encourages Bessie to act selfishly.
- Imaginary Friend: Though, he acts a lot less imaginary than the usual, complete with making his own expressions.
Anton St. Germain

Voiced by: Matt Besser
The judge of whatever competition in town
- Demoted to Extra: He's only had two speaking roles in Season 2
- Gonk: Not as much as Penny, but he's weird-looking.
- Hair Color Dissonance: His black hair looks purple in some shots.
- Pretentious Pronunciation: He insists his last-name is pronounced "San Ger-man" but everyone pronounces it as "Saint Ger-MAIN"
Geneva
Voiced by: N/A
Antoine's favorite doll- Companion Cube: She's Anton's doll and his favorite one.
- True Blue Femininity: She's dressed in a blue dress (with pearls).
The Hippie

In Macro Mayhem
Voiced by: Matt Besser
A hippie that's somewhat friends with Bessie and lives without a care in the world
- The Mentor: He acts like this to Bessie and gives her advice when she needs it.
- New-Age Retro Hippie: He dresses the part and acts the part, wearing tie-dye, hates shoes, and uses sayings "Like far out".
- No Name Given: He's not called anything but "Hippie", though whatever his real name is abbreviated with "M."
- Only Sane Man: Actually, in one episode, he plays this role in Macro Mayhem, where, he tells Bessie that she has a "gift" but shows her that her "gift" has a cost, that cost being that the sheep can't produce enough wool to meet the demand and that, no wool means "no yarn" for macrime.
Mr. Wu

"So, you won this time, Mighty B. I honor you with this fresh dumpling."
Voiced by: Keone Young
An owner of the Chinese restaurant, who's friends with Bessie
- Ambigously Related: It's not known if Mr. Wu is Gwen's dad but some fans guess them to be with a shared surname. However, the two have not been seen interacting and Mr. Wu never alluded to whether or not he had six kids.
- Cloudcuckoolander: He'd have to be if he's willing to go along some of Bessie's zany schemes.
- Look Both Ways: Implied in one episode, where he tells Bessie, "It's okay, I look both ways."
- You No Take Candle: Downplayed but, sometimes, he talks like this, however, he's more eloquent than most examples though.
Rocky Rhodes

Voiced by: Kenan Thompson
The 13-year old skateboarding waiter at Hillary's cafe
- Long-Haired Pretty Boy: Portia initially considers him to be this, but soon loses her attraction when she finds out he's friends with Bessie.
- Meaningful Name: His favorite genre of music is rock music.
- Punny Name: Of "rocky roads", on top of being named after the ice cream (rocky roads)
- What Happened to the Mouse?: He doesn't show up at all in Season 2 and we never get an explanation why. note .
Chelsea Gibbons

"Laters, Portia. You are so officially not my cousin."
Voiced by: Jessica Chaffain
Portia's 13-year old cousin who's even more obnoxious.
- Alpha Bitch: She’s even more loathsome than Portia.
- Beauty Is Bad: Much like her younger cousin, she's relatively cute, but still cruel and mean-spirited.
- The Bully: She's so mean that she's the only kid who pushes Portia around.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Or a case of, Everyone Has Standards. She shows this in the special Dragonflies, when she tells off her old Dragonflies troop for cheating; "Was. Past tense. And back in my day, we played rough. But not dirty."
- Jerkass: This apparently runs in the family as she's just as antagonistic as her cousin and her aunt.
- Lean and Mean: Chelsea is slimmer than some of the other characters and is one of the cruel members of the cast.
- Shared Family Quirks: What we see of her family, like her aunt and cousin, they all wear varying shades of blue. She also has pronounced buck teeth like they do.
- Trademark Favorite Food: She’ll kick out both the Honeybees and Dragonflies for knocking down her fro-yo into the pool. Her favorite flavor is raspberry, something that Portia weaponizes by lying about strawberry being Chelsea’s favorite, because she already knew the Dragonflies have been eavesdropping. Chelsea is so angered over receiving a strawberry flavored fro-yo from the Dragonflies that she marks them as the losers while granting victory to the Honeybees for gifting her the raspberry flavored fro-yo.
- Valley Girl: An example of her speaking, as seen in her caption.
- Villainous Ethics Decay: When she was a Dragonfly, she and her troop admittedly played rough by her words, but never resorted to cheating, something that she calls out on the current Dragonflies.
The Dragonflies

Bibi (right), Cherry (center), "Laurie" (left), and Maude (rear)
A scout troop from Oakland, California. Their names are Cherry, Maude, and Bibi, with an unnamed fourth member and a dog, Cha-Cha.
- Ambiguously Brown: Bibi and "Laurie's" ethnicity are harder to pinpoint other then them being darker-skinned.
- Brawn Hilda: Contrasting with the Big Fun Penny, we have Maude and she's The Heavy of the group.
- Cheaters Never Prosper: They always win by cheating at every competition, until Portia beats them at their own game by lying about a part of the challenge because she knew they’d be eavesdropping.
- Entitled Bitch: After losing to the Honeybees, Cherry wines to Chelsea for not siding with them because she was a part of their troop. Chelsea sets the record straight by reminding her and the rest of the gang that the Dragonflies of her generation never resorted to cheating.
- Evil Counterpart: Cherry, Maude, Bibi, "Laurie", and Cha-Cha are the meaner and tougher versions of Bessie, Penny, Gwen, Portia, and Happy (respectively).
- Evil Redhead: Cherry has pink hair and is pretty antagonistic to the Honeybees.
- Meaningful Name: Cherry's hair is a cherry (or raspberry) color.
- No Name Given: The fourth member, though fans call her "Laurie".
- Villainous Crush: Cha-Cha has a crush on Happy.
